Just curious how it works if you are lucky enough to stay in the castle all night. If you want to go out during the evening, how do you go about getting back in if you leave. I know, I know, who would want to leave if you got the chance to stay, but I was just wondering about how it all works?

I think I read before that you get locked in after you go to your resort and get your overnight things. Sounds creepy to me, not sure I would want it, and then there are the taxes to pay on your prize.

You don't get out...actually, they chain you to the walls down in the Dungeon!:rotfl2: For safety reasons! They wouldn't want you
running wild through the parks!:lmao:

Thank you so much!! I think so, but then I am biased!!

You are not biased. She definitly is a princess. Can you PM me you contact info. My kids are looking for someone to send a postcard to while we are in WDW. Would she like this? Just let us know what charaters she likes and we will see what we can do.

No one was locked in the Castle Suite. Their Concierge was on duty all night to attend to them, including stepping out of the Castle and into the park if they wished.

Also, the value of the stay was below the amout that required you to pay taxes. No taxes due on that prize.

We got to stay one night. Typical Disney...they are prepared.
There is a concierge all night. You just have to call them to go out if you wanted.

I am a runner and they would have let me run through the park for my morning run. Too tired to do this though!

We won on a night the park was open to 3:00 AM. It was awesome. The Castle Suite is one small part of what you win. A concierge takes you to the front of any line you want...as many times as you want. We got to eat at Cinderella's Royal Table for free. Cinderella actually stopped the line to meet my 7 year old daughter (She was the one who one). Fairy Godmother stopped the show to announce my daughter. We got preferred seating for the night parade and we were in the lead car for the afternoon parade (we rode with Daisy duck). The next morning we got breakfast with Pooh and Friends at Crystal Palace.

Those are just the big things....the details made it even better. (Can you say - Cinderella's Pumpkin Carriage...in Chocolate!)

No taxes, either.

pdmeroc, how did your daughter win the nights stay and how often do they 'give it away'? Just curious, that would be the win of a lifetime! What a dream!

Wow, that sounds amazing! I couldn't even imagine being able to sleep in the MK in Cinderella's Castle and have all those wonderful memories. It's so neat that you get to go to the front of all the lines and were in the parade! We were lucky enough to be in the parade when we went in August and we had a blast! :goodvibes

Oh that sounds just absolutely incredible!

I just wanted to hop on the Rachel train and say that she is truly a gorgeous little girl, and I am sure quite the princess in training !

I work with adults with Down's and the possibilities for these folks are truly limitless.

What I would give to reside one day in the Castle as a princess.... given the fact that I reside in a place that needs major repairs... We have walls, but structurally we don't... I have beams up in some areas to hold up the house sort of speak, and no ceilings... they aren't complete. Half a bathroom... missing a sink, bath needs finishing... we use two 6' electric baseboard heaters and 2 portable heaters to heat the place. I could REALLY use one of those Extreme makeover home edition remodels done, lol. BUT, I can't afford the payments of the house AFTER the repairs they would do!!!!
