curious...any upgrade after room assignment?

has anyone here been upgraded, after your have your room assignment? just curious...

or maybe you only get an upgrade when you have "guarantee" room?

yes, i think i'm out of questions for the time being, so i'm posting this...but it's a question that i've been wondering about for a while...

Our only upgrade came when we had a room assignment. We had been booked into 7504 (cat 9 I think), and when our docs came, they were for 7538 (cat 5). This was a Wonder 4 day in Jan 03. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to upgrades, but you can still hope for one.

I was upgraded from a 10 to an 8 and it wasn't done until I got to port. There was a message on our home phone from the day we left that we got when we got home. We were assigned a room in the Cat 10.

We've picked our rooms and never had an upgrade.

On our Sept cruise we had requested and were assigned on our docs 8076, cat 4. After our docs arrived our TA got a call from Disney upgrading us to 8080, a cat 3!!!! Again, we can see no system to the upgrades what-so-ever. Unless wishing harder than everyone else is a system.

like i've said, i was just curious, that's all. we did pick out stateroom, and it's a convenient place for us...so i was just wondering...thanx all!
