Curious about survey answers

Hey, I knew that everyone is buying the pass that makes sense to them. I was just curious how people were spending all their "days" in the parks.

I still am not understanding what people do in the parks on that many days. There are posters here talking about 20+ day a year in the parks. WDW is not like other theme parks that offer 15-20 thrill rides per park. So whats left, shows?.I couldn't imagine seeing them over and over. Shopping, I can do that and find all the same items at the resorts or DD. Restaurants, already mentioned that.

if I sound critical, please excuse me. I am not critisizing your right to choose the pass that works for you. I am totally at a loss to understand this. I am not without an open mind on the subject. I love Disney. I am not a person who gets bored quickly, I can enjoy Illuminations, Wishes, and Fantasmic, but not upto 15 times a year. Or even 5 times each. Somehow it wouln't seem special anymore the next time I returned. Do you have a trick for keeping it new? Bringing a newbie?

It is getting tough to keep it exciting for the kids. We split the days up and spend more time back at the pool. We don't do EVERYTHING each trip anymore, I try to plan out new restaurants, last trip we did a tour, this coming trip we're doing a fireworks cruise, etc.
But there are certain rides we HAVE to ride each trip - things like POTC, HM & Peter Pan come to mind. :sunny:
Like I said earlier we're maxing out our AP, then taking a breather, more for the kids if anything. I don't want them to get tired of it.

Nope we just love doing the same things over and over. Kinda like anything you enjoy. Golf, fishing, etc.

We ride the favorites many times never getting tired of them, especially at MGM and MK, we go to dinner, we see the parades over and over and never miss the fireworks etc. On each trip we will do alot of attractions only once, but some we ride multiple times. Big Thunder, Pirates, Splash, Space, Pooh, Buzz, RRC, TOT, etc. We also prefer some of the Epcot restuarants to those at the resorts and we prefer some of the park shops. We people watch. We don't go and stay all day, but for 2 weeks when the entire family is there we go every day for some part of the day.

Do you get tired of kissing your wife daily? From reading your posts in this thread I think the difference is you enjoy going, we "love" going. Yes I could ride HM over and over and it will always seem like the first time.

To me it's the same thing, how can one ever get tired of doing something you enjoy.

We go to a park pretty much every day. But we only plan to spend maybe 7 days a year at WDW, which is not quite long enough to make an AP pay off. So it's UPH for us, or one of the other discounts gotten elsewhere.

We have annual passes and normally schedule vacations to get around 23 days use from them. We are casual park goers, we hit the attractions we really enjoy and if it gets too crowded we leave. We spend a lot of time at the pools and DTD. We like the convenience of them and they fit our vaction style to a "T". I would like them even more if I could get them for 25% less.

Mick - we do the same as you - people actually laugh when I say we do Disney leisurely. WDW is always a relaxing vacation for us.
