Curious about Make-up...Question for the ladies

I wear it every day, can't be without it. I recently switched to the BE stuff and really love it. I used to wear liquid foundation but sometimes it would make my skin feel oily or look fake. The BE stuff does not look like I have anything on (unless you knew what my real skin looked like, LOL).

My routine is moisturizer, then the skin rever upper, underye concealer, BE foundation and mineral veil, eyelier (upper lid only), mascara, and lipstick or gloss depending on my mood. I never wear blush and usually don't wear eyeshadow. Overall, the entire routine takes less than 10 minutes.

Just a "plug" here for a new product I tried. I was reading a magazine the other day that was rating new products. They talked about Physician's Formula Felt Tip Eyeliner. Said it was basically idiot proof. Normally, I use a Lancome Kohl eyeliner on my upper lid, but sometimes it just doesn't go on evenly.

I bought this stuff--the Felt Tip eyeliner--at CVS and it really does go on well, just as if you were using a magic marker. But if you make a mistake, it corrects pretty easily and also "smudges out" easily if you don't want a harsh line. I am really liking this stuff.

I wear make-up everday. I work in a corporate office and feel it just makes me look more professional and polished and pulls my whole look together. I've got it down to a science, it takes about five minutes and I wear foundation, powder, blush, lipstick, eyeshadow, mascara and eye liner. On the weekends for running around, it's usually just some powder to hide my oily spots, mascara and lipstick but full face comes on to go out or go over people's houses.

I wear full makeup just about everyday, always to work. It takes me less than five minutes, so why not? There have been occassions when I have gone without and DH like me that way better. MEN.

They (husbands) only like you without makeup once you are married. When you're dating, they like all the "glitz." :teeth:

I only wear eye makeup, mostly because I just don't know how to apply foundation or blush without looking like a clown :lmao:
If I don't have mascara on, I feel like I don't have eyes when I look in the mirror, so I usually wear it daily :teeth:

Nope, he was even this way when we were just dating. :teeth: He has never kissed me when I have had lip gunk on (like he calls it).

I generally just wear eye shadow and lip gloss. Some times I'll wear mascara but it irritates my eyes. I have no desire to wear makeup why would I want to cover up my face! My boyfriend tells me I don't need to wear it and look beautiful without. He thinks makeup is for women who really need it of course some just feel more comfortable with it on!

I wear it all - everyday.

I  makeup!!!! YAY!!! :cheer2:

I don't wear a lot of make-up....but I do love make-up! I always wear lipgloss, blush, eyeshadow and mascara. I never wear foundation...I think it ages me. I also NEVER leave the house without any makeup on. :goodvibes

I wear a combination sunscreen/moisturizer, foundation, lipstick (or gloss) and sometimes mascara. It's a quick thing in the AM - I hve very uneven skin tone, so the foundation is a must. (the sunscreen is year-round too!)
When I'm getting "all dolled up" I add blush, eyeliner (the smudged kind) and subtle eyeshadow.

I just got back and was able to read through all the replies. I feel better now knowing I am not the only one who wears make-up daily, although I am still jealous of those who don't have to fuss with it or those who have the whole routine down to 5 minutes!! :faint:

I am going to have to get quicker at my make-up application. My son has a stop watch maybe I can enlist his help with the timing part. Like training for the make-up Olympics. :teeth:

I have rosacea as well, fortunately it's mild and generally kept at bay. (Have you tried the Jurlique skin care line? Since I began using it about five years ago my rosacea has all but disappeared!)

I wear concealer, foundation, loose powder, blush, brow powder, mascara, and lipstick when I leave the house.

I wear eye shadow and liner, as well as lip liner on special occasions.

If I'm not leaving the house I don't wear makeup, just the daily moisturizer I always put on.

I don't wear makeup at all.. "What you see is what you get.." (And it's great for warding off muggers; rapists; stalkers; and scaring small children when necessary.. :teeth: )

I wear make up daily, and have since being a teenager. Of course what I wear now is the kinder gentler version, and it does only take me 5 min (and that is with doing my hair and putting in contacts too.)

I used to wear foundation, but moved on to bear esstenal after hearing about it here. Eye liner, shadow and sometimes mascara, but sometimes I forget (because I put it on after my contacts, but put my makeup on before I put my contacts in.)

I even do a little make up camping, if I can bush my teeth and hair, I can though a little eye shadow and powder on. The funny thing is I use very natural shades, so it isn't that obvious I am wearing make up. :teeth:

I wear lipstick 365 days each year.

If I have a special occasion, then I'll wear more make-up. Usually, it's just the lipstick.

I always wear:

moisturizer
makeup/foundation
loose powder
eyebrow pencil (my light brows disappear without it)
mascara
blush
lipstick or gloss

I sometimes wear eyeliner or eye shadow.

Occasionally, I'll leave the house with only tinted moisturizer on, but I feel a little weird doing it.

BE here- nothing if staying home except mascara.
I once watched a show where men were shown photos of women wearing makeup and without. The vast majority thought the women without makeup were sick, and those with makeup were "natural".
Personally, a good friend of mine is a drag queen. Impossible to compete with him, but a good incentive to keep things up! :wizard:
