Curious about Hosts post-VMK

We know some of the Hosts/Staff take a look at our boards from time to time.... (perhaps more frequently as well)

It is possible that some of the Hosts/VMK staff may not longer be Saluke/"Disney" game employees and of course I wish them all success in whatever there next position may hold. I just wonder, for those no longer associated with Saluke/Disney, if they might make an appearance over here post-VMK.

Was just imagining a situation where a former Host/staffer might "out" themselves. It just would be neat to chat with them without the limits of the vmk dictionary and hear more about their experiences in the game/share funny stories etc....

Of course, I totally and completely understand why they would choose not to as well. Just a thought....

No idea, they work for Sulake, not Disney though.

It's entirely possible they signed confidentiality releases to keep their identities secret outside vmk, so even though they may come here to post, I'm not sure they can let on they were staff. Of course, I've been wrong about a lot of my assumptions, so...heh. It would be cool if they did pop in here and chat a while, though.

True, I just wonder if there is a confidentiality release, if that would expire with vmk closing and if they no longer work for Saluke/Disney. I know this is ALL speculation. Just think it would be fun to see some of them on here. Of course, I hope it does not lead to imposters too.

It would be just about impossible to fool us at this point, we all have stories that only a host would know. I am confident if it were to happen we could confirm it.

But I wouldn't count on it either, usually confidentiality agreements dont expire at the end of employment.

I expect we will see fakes, just my guess, I don't think we will see the hosts or anything here.

Speaking metaforically here, I'm not saying I am, which I'm not. And I'm pretty sure that ill isn't... Haha!
I'm just saying we can never assume people aren't things. It's just a big world, and connections like this make it small. Who knows, maybe Hurry and Lily are people on this boards.

I've been in the game 3 years - entered most host games. All they have ever said to me was "keep moving", "enter a teleporter", "lost the game thanks for playing"

Kind of hard to get to know someone if they won't "talk" to you.
