Curious about Etsy

I know there are Disney related items on Etsy. How is it that people are allowed to sell unofficial merchandise without getting in trouble with Disney? I was just curious. In case I ever get super talented and uber creative and wanted to try something like that, I wouldn't want to get in violate any copywrite laws.

I've always wondered about this too. I doubt you'd get in trouble because the same sellers have been selling the same Disney things for years on there.

I think that when you buy the design for the embroidery machine you also buy rights to use it. I know disney patterns are available for sale for embroidery machines.

Also its not official disney merchandise cause they can't put the disney name on the label.
