We decided on June 12th that we could not stand waiting and decided to book a trip for July 14 through the 21. When my DW and I decided to go we conceeded that we would have to stay wherever we could get and that ADR's would be hard to come by. Well I booked seven nights at Pop Century which was actually our first choice and then bought our park tickets. We talked on Monday night about where we wanted to eat and called Tuesday night for the ADR's crossing our fingers we could get some. There will be three of us, me DW and DD. We never consider the dinning plan because we really cannot even begin to imagine eating that much food and with all the walking and the heat we usually only make three or four ADR's. Well guess what? We got Ragland Road for Monday at 8:30, Teppenyaki for Wednesday at 1:00, Garden Grill for Thursday at 1:00 and Wolfgang Pucks for Saturday night at 7:00 all our first choices. The CRO CM asked if I was on a dinning plan and I said no. We got all four ADR's at the times we wanted one month out.

Whats the deal do they reserve a certain amount of tables for non dinning plan folks or what?

What do you think?

When we made ADRs and the CM asked about dining plan, I told her I we hadn't decided yet. She seemed okay with that like it didn't really matter for their purposes. Not sure why they ask.

I'm not sure, but it's taken me a while to get all the times I wanted. I am on the DDP and do tell them so everytime I call (I think they probably have a picture of me over a dart board over there by now). I have one more ressie time to hit and I'll be good with all of them... untill I change my mind about something again... I think sometimes the time I want IS available and the person on the phone is just "playing hard to get" trying to make me work for it or something... or maybe it's just me :lmao:

Just curious but when are you going? Is it during the free dinning plan offer and how far out did you make the ADR's?
