Curbside Check In at MCO??

Hi all

Has anyone done curbside checkin at MCO (just to drop off luggage, we already have boarding passes) and then gone to return the rental car?

Last year we returned our car first and then had to trek 1,000 miles with all of our stuff and 2 little kids just to get to the counter and wait in line for an hour to check in and then schlep all our stuff over again to the xray thingie.

It was a real pain and I wasn't sure if it would be easier to just do the curbside. Do you have to drive onto the highway again to get to the rental car area or can you just drive around the airport?

Anyone done this and care to share their experience?

I've done it many times with National or Avis. Just follow the signs for departure (make sure you know if your airline is on A or B side), find your airline's curb and then check the luggage. If you are using an onsite rental company, all you have to do is follow the airport road back around to rental car returns, the road is a circle around the airport.

We always do curbside then renturn the car.

Much easier IMO.
