I see this discussed here sometimes, so I wanted to share for those cruising with kiddos...
We just returned from a MerryTime on the Dream and were thrilled to see that the kids were offered some drinks with a lid and straw. It’s not the disposable version from years past, but a plastic (reusable, I assume) cup with dome lid and paper straw.
They were only available at the MDR and I think the quantity may be numbered - they always got the initial cup of water in one, but it was hit or miss if they ordered an additional drink. None in Cabanas, at the self-serve station, or Castaway Cay.
I packed two Boon lid & straw sets for my younger boys, which I highly recommend and used several times.
