Cupcakes after BOG Lunch or Big Top Circus Souvenirs?

We are doing BOG lunch on one day of our upcoming trip. We have DDP. Would you use snack credits on the cupcakes at BOG or go over to Big Top for Dessert? I don't remember the cupcakes at BOG being that good last time we were there a couple of years ago.

Or how about a savory bowl of French Onion soup? (inexplicably listed on WDW's website for dessert )

You could also head to Gastons for a nice cinnamon roll, chocolate croissant or a non-souvenir LaFou's brew.

You can spend a $5 snack credit for a tiny but tasty cupcake at BoG, or you can spend the same $5 snack credit at Big Top for a large and tasty cupcake or other sweet. Your choice.
