Hello,

Off to Orlando next Easter. Just about to book a villa (for the first time) and have found a nice looking one in Cumbrian Lakes. Anyone think of any reason not to stay there? (like motorway next door, Hells Angels meet, middle of nowhere etc). It looks OK, but when presented with the choice of 1000's to choose from I have no idea where is good and where is not. Don't mind driving and don't spend all vacation in the theme parks. 2 teenage daughters.

BTW, booked some good flights with US Air. £1450 net for 4 of us via CLT. Car hire via Dollar is around £200 net for 8 days. It's a lot cheaper doing it yourself rather than a package. :)

We've stayed at Cumbrian Lakes - it's a very nice community and not too far from WDW (15-20 minutes depending upon your final destination). The motorway and the Hells Angels were a doddle after contending with the free-roaming aligators ;) :rotfl2: . Seriously, there is a railway track running alongside the development, but I don't remember it being an issue. In fact, I wouldn't even have remembered it if you hadn't asked.

We are staying there next month.

We have driven round the estate and it is very nice, gated and new.

I would say it's a good 5-10 minute drive to the junction of the 192, with a Publix supermarket close by at the junction of Vineland Road.

It is just off Poinciana Boulevard which can get fairly busy during peak times of the day although no real queue's traffic wise.

I think CL is a very good choice.
