Well, my DB and SIL gave me the greatest CUBS fleece pullover for cold weather...I have EVERY intention of needing it to see them play at Wrigley...and I don't mean for opening day next spring either!

Congrats Josh! I knew the Cards could clinch today, but I didn't hear that they did, until I saw your siggie! It was a no-brainer really. Amazing they are.

My Cubs give me anxiety attacks regularly, like Dan says, ANY DAY! I love 'em tho!!!

Regardless of what the commentator's say, the Cubs, themselves, have to keep winning in order to clinch the wild card....jmo...Can't rely on other teams losing, that's just not right. My judgment is often clouded tho...where's Robin when I need her?!

Here I am!

The Cubs can still "win out" the wildcard without any help from anone else. That is, if they win every one of their next 14 games, they will win the wildcard. Baker says that he's waiting for us to "get hot" and I think the time is NOW .

Both the Giants and the Astros have a day off today (while the Cubs play 2 thanks to Frances) and then they play each other for 3 games. I'm hoping for the Astros to take 2.

I think I need to buy a giant bottle of Tums. I already sent my check for post-season play.
