Cub Scout Camping and questions.....

Well we leave on Friday for our 3 day camping trip to the Fort. I am so excited, probably more than my 9 year old. We are going to have so much fun. Today I started getting our camping gear ready. Although this trip we won't be bring the cooking gear. I want to have more time to spend in the parks with my son, so I made a few ADR's. I am also suprising him with a golf cart. He doesn't know about it. We will be going fishing too, does anybody know if they sell out of cane poles, should we bring our own poles? Also, does anyone know how much the s'mores kits are and do they come with something to cook the marshmellows?

Also, today I bought seem sealer and scotch guard for our tent, this is one thing I haven't done before. Do you spray scotch guard all over the tent and then put the seem sealer on the seems? Any pointers on how to apply this stuff would be greatly appreciated. I am sure I will think of a million more questions this week. Thanks in advance everyone.

We sealed the seams, inside and out, then sprayed with Scotchguard.

We took our Pack there, back when I was Cubmaster in 2001, what fun!

Here's some info on the smore's kits, and here's MY idea on how to make a really YUMMY smore!
Take those Keebler Fudge Stripe cookies and put your toasted marshmallow inbetween those!
No mess or struggle with getting the chocolate and graham cracker to stay put while you eat it.

We didn't fish and I imagine they wouldn't run out of poles, but you can always bring your own just incase.
