CSR section closest to dining

What building should I request at CSR to be closest to the "food court " ?

preferred rooms in building 1 and 3 and business class cabana 9b are closest to the main building but all these rooms are at a higher rate

If your main concern is breakfast, Siesta (pool bar/grill) is now serving breakfast, too. So even if you are in Ranchos, you won't be too far from somewhere serving food.

You would need to pay for a preferred location, or a business class room. Otherwise casitas #4 is fairly close.

That's actually a really nice perk.....To me other than being secluded, and so far from the others, this will draw more people into possibly staying in this section...

When we went in 2010, we were to be in this section, and I asked if there was anything else...They gave us Casitas 4 , which I thought was ideal, for every aspect of that trip. pretty close to main bldg.Very close to the quiet pool/Gym/Laundry. Very close to their bus stop, about n 8 or 9 minute leisurly stroll to the big pool..

But hearing this about the food offerings & so close to the main pool, would definitely have me rethinking again...

I requested Cabanas myself, but have a feeling that we'll get the farthest Ranchos building possible . So it's a good consolation.

I think Cabanas 9A might be a pinch closer to El Centro than Casitas 4. Cabanas 9A is also closer to the dig site pool. BUT Cabanas 9A is closest to the last bus stop (bus stop 1) whereas Casitas 4 is closest to bus stop 2, which is the first bus stop for pick up and drop off. We found we preferred to be closest to the first bus stop since we use that more, and didn't mind walking a bit further to the pool. We did think Cabanas was prettier though.

We absolutely loved our location, As I'm sure you Know..We both usually end up posting on threads that deal with CSR.

When we were there we'd walk to El Centro for a quick bite then off to that main bus stop,(4th) which never was filled up, so off to the parks immediately... Then when we'd return we'd get off the 1st stop, and a brief 4 minute walk to our room.

The only Drawback was the walk to main pool!!!

Preferred rooms are only in the Casitas section - buildings 1,2,3. If you mean business class, thats only Cabanas 9B. Cabanas 9A is still available for all other room categories.

Yep that is what I meant Business...But Now I see it isn't....

To be honest The Ranchos section actually to me looks the best, but just being so far from El Centro had us scared off...When the other pp stated that there are breakfast offerings there, it definitely made it more appealing....Now being DVC, I doubt we'll ever return, but for sure, this was our absolute favorite resort, Especially at Night..

I also agree that Ranchos was the nicest aesthetically to us as well. Just terribly inconvenient to the resort amenities. We didn't care for the look of Casitas, but felt Casitas was in the best location for the things most important to us.
