I recently reserved a room at the CSR and all they had was a King Bed room. The rate for the room was more than that of a double bed room which is $74. The rate that they are charging me is $109 per night. I was wondering is this a suite or just a regular room with only one bed? If anyone has stayed here before can you let me know. Thanks:wave2: :earsboy:

This is a standard sized room with a king size bed. It is a really nice resort, if you don't want to pay for a king sized room why don't you try the other moderates. Have stayed there and will be trying CBR next month for the 1st time. Hope this was of some help.

As Melmeg said, this is just a standard room. All of the mods charge more for king bed rooms as well as for water views. You can keep checking back and see if a regular double bed rooms becomes available. CSR is my favorite moderate and I would recommend it; however, the other moderates are nice as well.

When are you going? We are going in September and have CSR reservations for a king size bed. We have AP rate of something like $705.00 for 8 nights.::yes::

I hope there are enough king rooms for all of us. I have a king room reserved for sept also.

BTW, Buzz
Do you know if there are king rooms located in cabanas 9b. King bed ( which we paid for) and cabanas 9b were our 2 requests noted on our ressie.

I was reading on another post that they were having problems with the computers at CRO with room availablity but now they seem to be working. Maybe if you call back something might be available for a standard room. Sometimes you have to call a few times before you get what you want.

dansyr, we requested King in Cabanas 9b also! When are you going in September??

Dansyr, I just noticed your countdown clock and it looks like you are there a few days before us! Where in the Pocono's do you live? I have relatives in the Pocono's - Hawley.

We will be staying at CSR in October for the first time. We will probably use our car a lot while there and would like to be close to the registration area. Of Cabanas and Casitas, which building should I request to be close to the parking and registration areas?

We have a King room booked for September 8th-16th too!!! I requested Casitas 3 booked but may ask to be closer to the bus stop.
dansyr, I'll be there the same time. Look for my lime green backpack and Mickey head paint chip. Stop and say hi!!!:wave2:

Hey sarahj and phillypiglet.

We'll be there the 8th through the 15th. Hopefully we'll see you if we both get our requests met. I live in Stroudsburg. Not sure exactly where Hawley is but I think it is fairly close.
I'll have a lime green ribbon tied to my purse. I'll try and look for the lime green but it seems everytime we are there I never seem to see anyone with lime green.....could be I'm just in my own little magical world....lol
Anyway if you see a little italian girl with a big blonde guy trailing behind complaining to slow down....that'll be us.

BTW...phillypiglet ....where are you flying out of ...we may even be on the same plane. We have a 7:00 am flight on USair out of phillly.

I'm not positive but I think there are a certain amount of king beds in each building.

Dansyr & Phillypiglet,
We'll be there the 10th - 18th. We can't wait!!!! Second trip without kids!!

Dansyr, Hawley is near Lake Wallenpaupack, and next to Honesdale. My aunt & uncle owned a resort there. You are near Scranton, aren't you?

Yes, CBR has king size beds also. We had one last year in Trinidad North. It was a great room. First floor, corner room, which meant we had two windows. Trying CSR this year and we can't wait!!!

sarahj
I am about 45 min from Scranton but have been to Lake Wallenpaupack many times.

Hey Pocono People - I just can't resist getting off topic here for a minute. I have a summer cabin near Lake Wallenpaupack. I walked along the lake last week and next week I'll be visiting a resort - Woodloch Pines - in Hawley. Been to Stroudsburg too. Think I visited a working farm museum there. Boy - it's a small world.

Back on topic - I am anxious to try CSR our next trip. I was gonna book 2 rooms so the teens could have their own room. Was wondering if they'd give us a king room and a double. I have no preference and I'm not gonna request a specific location or room I want to be surprised.- just wondering how they assign rooms if a request wasn't made. :sunny:

Nolcrest, Talk about a small world..... you are visiting the resort that my aunt and uncle used to own!!!!! Have you ever been there??
