Can anybody tell me how the bus system is at the Coronado Springs Resort? Is it true they only run for this resort? And which buildings do you recommend staying in? I have requested the Casitas. Which is the better choice for breakfast at this resort? Pepper Market or Maya?

Thank you.

Can anybody tell me how the bus system is at the Coronado Springs Resort? Park buses start at bus stop 2 and end at bus stop 1. Downtown Disney and park exit buses start at bus stop 1 and end at bus stop 4. They do this so guests can get to and from the main building and get closer to their rooms. There are signs posted at the bus stop on how to use the buses.

Is it true they only run for this resort? CSR does not share buses with any other resort.

And which buildings do you recommend staying in? Depending on what you want to be close to, here are some good building choices.

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site (main pool) over the wooden bridge. Most convenient location and most preferred.

Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site (and playground) and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building. (Closest to the Pool)

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool and is the old smoking optional building.

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

Casita 1 is attached to the main building and is very close to the restaurants.

Casita 3 has great courtyard and fountain views but you will have to walk or ride the internal shuttle to get to the pool.

Casita 5 has some nice fountain and lake views and is close to the Dig Site but farther from the main building. Close to bus stop #2.

Which is the better choice for breakfast at this resort? Pepper Market or Maya? Maya Grill has a great breakfast buffet and it is relatively inexpensive for Disney. $16.95/adult, $9.95/child 3-9. Check out the menu. http://allearsnet.com/menu/menu_mgb.htm

CSR has their own buses which are fantastic! We never had to wait longer than 10 min and always had a seat. We stayed in the Cabanas which IMO was the best location. I really liked the theming of the other 2 sections but Cabanas was closest to both the Dig Site and the Pepper Market. We had buffet breakfast at the Maya and didn't think it was very good for the money so our preference was the Pepper Market although we usually just eat cereal in our room so we are not really breakfast experts. CSR is such a great resort, have a great time!

You will get all kinds of opinions of where to stay. We went in January. I only wore my sandals twice...the weather can be so iffy that time of year. We really are not pool people. We were assigned casitas 3 absolutely loved it. It was close to the pepper market and such. ( I believe called El Centro) So being not pool people the casitas is a good choice. The busses were wonderful, you dont have to worry about them - put them out of your mind;)

Breakfast at Pepper Market has a number of choices. Being the two of us I realized that for just a few more dollars we could have eaten at the buffet. Why not try both?

I have a question about the buses. Sorry, I am not trying to take over this thread. If it needs to be moved, no problem

I use an ECV and will be staying at CSR in mid Dec. Would it be best for me to request Casita 5 since it is at #2 bus stop. Which sounds like it is the 1st stop for the parks, or does it matter. It is just easier loading on an empty bus. That way I don't run over any toes.. Thanks

yes, bus stop #2 is the first bus stop for all the park buses so casita 4 or 5 are very close. Bus stop #1 is first for trips to Downtown Disney. But unless you are going the week between x-mas and New Years, the buses shouldn't be overly crowded.

Thank you. Casitas 3 is what I requested but we are unfortunately getting there in the evening so not sure if I will be able to get my request. Hope so.

Know that feeling. I requested Cabana 9B but we are arriving late as well- probably won't get to CSR until around 10pm so my chances are probably pretty slim!!
