CSR Pool slide?

We were scheduled to check in to CSR on Friday. I just called to add a night to arrive early and while I was on the phone the cast member told me that "a pool slide will probably be closed for refurb". Am I correct in that there is only a slide at the main pool? Has anyone heard anything about it being closed for refurb? I haven't been able to find anything about it online.

I couldn't find anything about it. We had a reservation once and found out that the pool would be closed and we could use the pool at another resort. We didn't like that option, so they let us change resorts (no upgrade though).

I just googled disney pool closings and found something about their feature pool being closed from Jan 21 - early Feb.

Thanks. I checked a few sites and didn't see it mentioned. Hopefully it is open when we get there.

But yes, to answer the first part of your question there is only one slide at CSR and its in the main pool.

The main pool is pretty awesome even without the slide, BUT, clearly the slide makes it better and would be missed ... hoping all is well when you arrive !

According to Buzz's website, the Dig site Pool will be closed for cleaning and caulking Feb 14 - 15.

Thanks. We just got in to the airport. I will look tomorrow. Hopefully pool and slide will be open most of our trip.
