We're staying at CSR and since each room has a mini fridge, we planned on buying some groceries and having breakfast in the room most mornings. I had been planning on ordering from Garden Grocer, but heard that in addition to the delivery fee, resorts have been charging a holding fee for packages. I wondered if it would be cheaper just to buy from Panchitos on our arrival day. We stayed at CSR last year, but barely went into Panchitos for more than 20 mins, and we weren't focusing on the food available. Could anyone confirm that they carry most of the following items, and maybe offer input as to if it would be better to buy there or order from Garden Grocer?

Coke/Diet coke- multi bottle packs so we can carry into the park
Water- same thing
milk- half gallon or so
almond milk
cereal
apples
lays variety snack pack
naked juice

CSR has an excellent official thread that is very well maintained, which would have all the info you are looking for.

I know Panchito's has half gallons of milk and I know apples are available at Cafe Rix (individually). I think Panchito's has a small cereal selection. Sorry I can't remember more - I bring cereal from home and just buy milk.

Some of your more "exotic" groceries (Almond milk) will probably have to be picked up offsite.

Haha, I was wondering if someone was going to comment on that when I wrote it. I thought most everyone had heard of that brand name by now though. If almond milk and naked juice/smoothies are the only things CSR wouldn't carry, we can do without for the week. I just know my mom prefers almond milk to cow's milk or soy, and I have a green smoothie every day for breakfast at home. Naked juice is the closest I can get to that without lugging a blender to WDW.

We used wegoshop and they deliver right to your room as long as your arrive before 9 at night (I think). Might be away around the extra fee. We were very happy with the service and the groceries too!

CSR charges a fee for packages shipped UPS or Fedex (most, if not all, of the convention resorts charge for packages), but I have not heard of them charging for Garden Grocer orders.

We are arriving tommorrow at BLT. We shipped our luggage UPS. Because it is stored at the convention center, there is a holding/delivery fee. I double checked the fees associated with groceries. According to resort, groceries are held in a refrigerated case at bell services so there is no charge. If you had something non-perishable delivered before your day of check in, then you may have a problem.

I haven't heard anyone else mention resort holding fees with garden grocer. I ordered from garden grocer in jan and there was no fee from the resort. I got to choose a 2 hr delivery window. The package was delivered while we were still at the airport. We went straight to the parks, so our package was held (and refrigerated) at bell services for 9 hours. This was at CR.

Btw, I just saw the PP. Garden grocer delivered 2 packages; one with perishables and one that was not refrigerated. Both were delivered to bell services. So this plus being able to pick your delivery day/window, you should be able to avoid any fees.
