CSR or PC

Which would you choose?

DS, DD, and I will be meeting my mother at WDW for a 4 night trip at the end of June for DS's 11th birthday.

My mother has not been to WDW since the early 70's. We have a room at CSR right now, but I have heard great things about PC. I know that one is a mod and the other value, and we have always stayed at a Deluxe, so I know that neither of them will have the ame amenities that we usually get.

You say it's your son's birthday. If the trip is for him, then let him decide.

For my last trip, I showed my kids (DS-10 & DD-8) pictures of the All-Stars (before PC opened) & my kids did not get excited at all, but they loved the idea of the pyramid & long water slide at CSR. However, everyone is different. They did NOT make the final decision, but I did want their input. The trip is truly for the kids anyway....even if I have as much fun as they do.

I think Pop is a great choice for kids. we stayed there in Jan and I couldn't believe how much nicer it was than the All Stars. The pools were VERY well themed (the main pool was amazing), but if they really want a water slide, I would go with CSR.

I asked my DS and he said CSR, becausr of the cool ool. He doesn't know we are going yet. We will tell him when we get back form our May trip. He thinks I am still trying to get DH to let us go.
