Trying to decide which resort to get ressies at for the first week of April. We are taking my new stepson with us. We want to get 2 rooms at CBR or possibly a suite at CSR. Any suggestions? We went last year and really like CBR. We would also like to try something new. Also, does anyone have pics of suites at CSR, and how much they run?

CSR would be my pick. I wouldn't pay the extra for the suite, just the 2 connecting rooms. Suites are a bit pricey.

CSR has 3 different types of suites. CSR is the only moderate resort to offer suites. This is to accommodate businessmen and conventioneers who stay at CSR for conventions.

The junior suite is basically two connecting (adjoining) rooms with one of the rooms set up as a living room. We entered through the living room, which included a desk with fax machine, murphy bed, armoir with television and sitting area.

Some have a king bed and some have double beds.

A big advantage is having the 2 bathrooms.

Prices vary depending on season. Prices are listed value, regular, peak & holiday

Jr Suite - double = $290, $335, $395, $435
Jr Suite - king = $310, $360, $425, $455
VIP Suite double - 1 bedroom suite = $580, $635, $705, $775
VIP Suite king - 1 bedroom suite = $580, $635, $705, $775
Executive Suite - 2-bedroom suite = $860, $940, $1,010, $1,140

I think all the suites are located in casita 1.

While I myself didn't care for the convention aspect of CSR (business people everywhere), my then 14-year old son absolutely loooved CSR ... the pool, the bridge, the scenery, landscaping ... everything. He said it was his favorite resort so far.

I really like CSR, the look, the transportation is great and the fact that it is a convention hotel makes for fewer people in the pools and on the buses during the day while they are having meetings.

However even if you chose CSR I would go with 2 rooms instead of a suite. I find the suites there geared more toward the business guest hence the reason they are all in the Casitas which is the closest building to the convention center.

We like the Cabanas area.

i too would say coronado springs, the pool is nice, less little kids, foods good, fun colors, health club & spa treatments. plus its right near blizzard beach & has a long path for jogging or biking too. we stayed in the suite at csr with my family a few years back with six & it was comfortable.

Awesome pics, Buzz! :sunny:

We were at the CSR last Christmas and I think my 14 year old would have spent the whole vacation on that slide if allowed!

Same with my DD. She loves the main pool area. We've been going since she was 4 and she is 12 now.

CSR is the place to go!!! We love this resort for so many reasons like:
Pool
Slide
Pepper Market
Landscaping
2 Arcades
Surrey Bikes
Fountains
Beautiful Lake (great for evening walks)
Great Bus Service
Friendly CMs
So many more... :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

I'm voting for CSR. Like you, I've been to CBR (and liked it), but not to CSR. I would like to try CSR and so I want you to do it and then post a comparison.

Variety is the spice of life, right? Go!

Wow...thanks for all the input!!! I loved the pictures. I am seriously thinking of getting Ressies at CSR now. It is gorgeous! I am wondering how relaxing it is? We hated the Dolphin due to the chaos and loved the WL becuase it was relaxing. The CBR was also relaxing. Relaxation is very important to us; we have to take some down time from the parks.

Relax at the pool with a margarita and some nachos while the kids play in the pool. Take a dip in the largest hot tub on WDW property or take a walk to the white sandy beach and hang out in one of the hammocks.

We have stayed at CSR and CBR and we liked them both. But, I would have to say that CSR was our favorite of the two. The pool at CBR is small and we loved the pool at CSR! It is also very relaxing. Like Buzz mentioned, get a margarita and some nachos and relax by the pool, walk around or by the lake at night, many things to do to relax!

Have a great trip and ENJOY!!!
