CSR help please!

Ok, I am veer nervous. With new room discounts, I needed to change my 4 night post cruise stay as we were booked at pofq which doesn't have a discount. We love pofq but was willing to change since it's just 4nights. Was all set to change to Riverside but the cm convinced me to stay at CSR which saved me almost $200Now I know NOTHING about this resort .... I'm going to read the FAQ thread as soon as I have a chance but can anyone give me just some quick info .... How are the buses, are you very far from MK or Epcot? When I asked about buildings, since I have a standard room she said we would be in the D section .... Is this good or bad? I would like to be close to a bus stop. For any CSR lovers, please help me with my decision thanks

I love Coronado. It is said to be the moderate with a deluxe feel.

I cannot help with the bus situation since we drive but the resort is closest to the Animal Kingdom. It really is not too far from everything though. Coronado does not share buses wiith any other resort.

A standard room will get you in any of the three sections of Coronado. Casitas, Ranchos or Cabanas. Each has it's own charm. I like the Ranchos for the desert look and closeness to the awesome pool. Casitas is really pretty with the fountains and it is a nice nighttime walk. Cabanas is great with the hammocks and beachy area. I have never heard of a D section and we stayed there 4 times already.

The pool is fabulous and the hot tub is the biggest on property.

Arriving there tonight for one night before check in at GF tomorrow. Hopefully it will serve our needs for tonight, will post my thoughts when possible.

We love CSR. Another perk of staying there is they have queen size beds instead of double size. If you want to be close to the bus stop, request a parking lot view. Depending on which section you are in, it can be a long walk to the food court. It is a lovely resort. We really enjoy it and will be staying there in Feb.

We stayed there in August/September-It was very nice and the CMs are great! The pool area is very nice....You'll have a great time!!!

We went to CSR for our first trip in February and loved it! We found the buses to be very efficient...at the time there was someone standing out there with a headphone tracking all the buses (not sure if it was just at the time or if they do that always) We never had a long wait and it never seemed like a long drive.

I spent hours upon hours reading the CSR FAQ thread. It was so helpful! The resort is beautiful and the pool was amazing. We visited a lot of deluxe resorts for dinner and I will have to say our pool looked to be the best.

You will not be disappointed with your decision.

We have stayed at CSR a number of times and have been very happy with both the Resort and the bus service. The Resort is beautiful and relaxing. For us the buses have been better at CSR than other resorts we have stayed at. We have almost never had to wait more than 20 minutes for a bus, usually much less. CSR is also in a good location near most of the parks. EPCOT, HS and AK are all ony a few minutes away by bus and the only park that is a little further away is the Magic Kingdom. You should really enjoy your stay!

We changed from French Quarter to Coronado to take advantage of the new discount. This wil be our first time staying there and I'm very excited about it. Now I'm going to start reading the Coronado thread and learn all I can.

So happy to see all these people excited to go to CSR! You will love it! The location is great. Quick bus rides to all the parks. The grounds are beautiful. Even if it is a long walk from your room to El Centro, it is not boring! I got up early every morning to walk around Lago Dorado. Look out for turtles and fish. The CM's are warm and inviting. Have fun!
