king room or preferred room?

What are the pros/cons of both?

My husband and I have stayed at CSR many times and always have the 2 queen beds. I would go with the preferred room so there is less walking involved. However we have never found CSR to be that bad with the walking as the grounds are amazing and there are 4 bus stops.

I agree!! However, if you only have the option of preferred or King, I would go with the preferred option.

Enjoy! CSR is a beautiful resort! So romantic at night!

My vote is for the King room - then you can enjoy a little longer walk together around this lovely resort!

Plus whenever we have 2 beds one remains unused, so I'd prefer to have 1 bed and a little more room space.

Rix Lounge, massages at the spa, hammocks...perfect for a couple

We went with a king bed for our honeymoon... More floor space due to only one bed and more bed space! Plus we were there for 17 nights so we needed extra room for our stuff. Request a corner room and you get an extra window for more light and another view. We loved our room in the cabanas section, close to one of the bus stops but still an easy walk to the main building for food and a pretty short walk to the main pool. We had a quiet pool right outside our room.

FYI; the preferred rooms are close to the lobby/FC, but not the main pool area.

We never request either. Our only request is Cabanas building 8A corner room. The Cabanas buildings are only two stories high so only one set of stairs. Corner rooms sometimes have two windows. CSR is a great resort, especially for couples. We went for our 25th anniversary. The walk around the lake at night is beautiful. Cheers!!!
