CSR Foodcourt prices - OUCH

Stayed at POFQ and CSR and I have to say the food at CSR won hands down. I would expect to pay more, because of the portion sizes, variety and the freshness. The food courts at the other mod. resorts, to me, are just that fast food courts.

Maybe slightly off-topic, but I don't understand why some places add a fee & then tell us about it. Why not just add the 10% to the price & then promote the extra service you get for dining there. The same with the Swan/Dolphin resort fee---since it wasn't supposed to be optional, why not include it the room rate & promote the perks you get for staying there? This isn't a rant, just something I always found interesting. Back on subject--we ate at PM in April 4x, got 4 different items, & all were delicious!

We are staying at CSR for Thanksgiving weekend before moving on to POP and PepperMarket is one of the main reasons. I really do not like eating at food courts and often find the food lacking. Personally, I'd rather spend $10 for a good meal than $7 for a rotten one, lol We'll be spending a majority of our time at the resort so the food court and pool area were major considerations.

We have stayed at POP before and although the food court is similar to most others you find at the resorts or malls, etc., there was little I wanted to order and wanted my kids to eat.

It seems like the difference between a real meal and a fast-food meal to me, but I don't know this firsthand. I guess this is what I am hoping for. And, to boot, we have the dining plan so being that PM is counterservice, I don't think we can go wrong.

The prices dont bother us b/c the food is soooooo much better than the other resort food courts. It is fresher and definitely better quality. The other food courts at CBR and PO are all fast food or prepackaged type meals. CSR's pepper market has so many more fresher, better and many healthier choices!!
