Getting a little nervous about our decision to book CSR over CBR. We have two boys ages 4 and 2. We stayed at CBR last year and loved it, but wanted to try something new. Our 4 year old loved the pool and we liked that there was a kid-only area as well for our 2 year old to play in. I'm seriously thinking about changing the reservations to CBR just because I am worried the kids won't like the pool area as much as CSR. Any thoughts from people who have stayed at both resorts? Thanks!

think you will be fine. Now while most older kids definitely love the CSR pool (it is alot better than CBR) - don't know about little ones. Would suggest POFQ for your age children. that say you will love CSR - queen beds instead of double.

Honestly I've stayed at both and loved both. I like to try new resorts though. My kids are older but enjoyed both pools. I could see though how younger ones might like the CBR pool better though. I think you'll be fine.

We also like both resorts. For toddlers I would give a slight edge to the pool at CBR, but the CSR pool is also very nice for kids. Both resorts have their charms. We have stayed at CSR the last 2 times mainly because of the queen beds and fitness center. Both resorts have beautiful grounds. I really missed watching the Epcot fireworks from the beach in front of Martinique 25 at CBR. You can see the high ones from certain locations at CSR, but you are alot farther away. Try something new, I'm sure you will like it.

We love CSR and have since our kids were little. Our kids love the pool there, especially the slide. I really like having the sliding door separating the vanity area from the rest of the room so I can get ready early without light waking up the rest of my family. I think that's a great feature of the CSR rooms. Also, their queen beds are super comfy!

The Digsite Pool at CSR is fantastic, also the rooms are really nice there as well and you get the same tolietries as they Deluxe resorts. Enjoy!

Hmm, that is a toughie! I have stayed at and love both resorts. The age of your kids is perfect for the CBR pool. On the other hand, the Dig Site pool is awesome, has a nice playground right there and an arcade right at the main pool as well.

Bottom line, your kids will probably love the CSR pool. Now for mom and dad, having the gated off pirate area that is shallow, smaller slides, and zero entry, CBR 's pool might be better for you and your ability to relax and enjoy! But the kids will have a ball at either pool.

They are both great resorts!

I have only stayed at CSR, the pool is very nice and the hot tub even better ! The only thing that I would say that would be a difference is the kiddie pool at CBR looks a lot better and bigger for the younger kids. At CSR they just have a very small area for smaller kids to play in the water where fountains shoot up not much water. But they do have life jackets for kids that are old enough to swim around in the bigger pool by themselves.

I've stayed at pofq, por, cbr, and csr along with several in both the deluxe and value category. i've been taking my granddaughter for the past 5 years (she's 8 now) and she's liked all 4 of the moderates. she loves spending time at the pools. i really liked the pool at csr. they did a movie at the pool. they did games etc... i'd stay there again hands down. if you liked cbr i think you'll find the amenities very similar.

Have stayed in both with our now 9 year old daughter and CBR wins hands down.
The dig site pool is very nice and she loved it, but she loved the two slides at CBR more.
The food court is more crowded at CBR, but the people who work there where by far nicer, and ordering is whole lot less complicated.
Shutters food was WAY better than the food at The Maya Grill.
Our daughter also loved doing the Pirate Adventure right at our resort.
Yes the beds are smaller at CBR, but that wasn't such a big deal for us.
At CSR Main Pool and Main building are too far apart, have to walk in opposite directions if you want to do both.
Oh yeah, about that sliding vanity door at CSR, our girl tripped on the carpet and her face went right into the shiny handle.

Thanks for all the info guys. I think we are just going to stick with CSR and hope for the best. I'm sure we'll like it just as much as CBR!

I really think you will! All resorts have their pros and cons and it can drive a person nuts trying to make that "perfect" choice but in the end, you will be at WDW and the pool at CSR will be a lot of fun.

One of the things we like about both these resorts is that they remind us of the other one!

Have a wonderful trip!:goodvibes

CSR is a terrific resort. There were many times when we couldn't get a deluxe room that we "settled" for CSR and we were not disappointed. Hope you love it too, please do let us know. :earsboy:
