CSR building recommendations.

We will be staying at CSR for the first time in December and wondered what buildings are the most requested. We're not that concerned about it being our first time but we wondered what areas people really like.

All the areas are really beautiful...it really depends on what your resort needs are and what appeals to you. Each section (Casitas, Cabanas and Ranchos) has it's own feel and look to it. Each is located in a different area of the resort closer to different ammenities you may or may not want to be close to.

It seems like families with children like and request the Cabanas. We just stayed in Cabans 8A and it was a perfect location for us...close to the Dig Site (main) pool and a bus stop with a short walk to El Centro where the restaurants and shops are.

Look on the CSR thread and you will find a map and if you read through, you will see which areas and buildings people like for particular reasons. It is a beautiful resort, you will love it!

I stayed at CSR last month and we were in Casitas 5. I really enjoyed this location. We were only about a 4 minute walk to the main pool, had the quiet pool right next door, about a 5 minute walk to el centro (main building) and we were right near bus stop #2 which was good. Bus stop #2 ends up being the first bus stop in the resort when you are going to a theme park. We always had a seat.

I have to agree all the areas are beautiful, you will have a great time.

We loved Cabana 8A!

The Cabanas are the most frequenly requested -- 9B, 8A, 8B and 9A. Then it would be the Castias, Casitas 4 and 5, followed by the rest. The Ranchos are the least requested because they are the furthest from the main building.

We have stayed in Casitas 2, 3 (twice), 4 (2 times), 5 (2 times) and Cabanas 9A (our most recent stay). Personally, we prefer Casitas 4 and 5. This being said, we are requesting Ranchos on our next trip to give that area a try.

We loved our August stay in Cabanas 8A. Close to the main pool and bus stop, and just a short walk across the bridge to El Centro.

Keep in mind that if you stay in Cabanas 9B you would probalby be using bus stop 1 if you are taking the bus. The only times we had difficulties with the bussing at CSR was from Bus stop 1, bacause it is the last pick up for most locations, which means always full at busy times.
