CS vs WL

I am thinking of changing to Coronado Springs for my 4 night long weekend instead of WL. I have stayed there in 1997 and didn't like it. to spread out, far from everything but in this case money is tight so I can stay there for 4 night with my AP for a4309.00. WL will cost with AP $620.00. I am the first one to tell people it is just a vacation and not moving into it as a permenant home but why can't I see it that way. ARGH, help like I said money is tight, what would you do?

Although I can't fathom staying anywhere but the WL, if money was tight, I would go with the cheaper resort because going is more important than where you stay. Just visit the WL a lot to get your fix.

Can't compare a deluxe to a mod but CSR is a very nice resort. You can see picks on my site below. Try for Cabana 9b or 8a or any cabana building.

I know I have said this many times ...... I did not enjoy my stay at CS at all . I would not stay there EVER . It as Disney trips goes was the "Worst " . The WL is so beautiful that I would just go with that . You work hard and you deserve to have a treat !

I just did the exact same thing. We had 2 rooms at Wilderness Lodge 3 nights. With the comeback code already applied for a total of 978.00. Ap rates came out, tried to apply to wilderness Lodge was told that there wasn't anymore available for Ap rate. Could not apply it to my current ressie. Anyway...By switching to Coronado I cut my ressie down to $478.00. $500 dollar differance, That is my annual pass and change. I am normally not cost conscience when it comes to Disney... Much to my Dh's chagrin. But, this was a no brainer for me I just couldn't justify the difference, Did I mention I am going again in December? That 500 will pay for my savannah view at Animal Kingdom Lodge. If I go before I will post a trip report to let you know if I was regretful or not.

Maybe another Moderate would be better if you decide not to spend the extra money on the Lodge? I got a night at the Lodge in June for $139 with the code from Mousesavers. That's about the regular price for a Moderate! But if you decide NOT to stay at the Lodge, perhaps CX is not your best bet as you don't care for it. How about Riverside? It's lovely. Also recall that CBR was just rehabbed in the main areas and posters here report that it's looking good!
