2 adults :bride: :cool1:
1 child :wizard:
on basic dining plan.
= 3 CS meals per day

My son is a small eater and tends to share what we eat when we are out!!

How are CS meals put on the card? Are they pooled and listed as 3
or does it record as 2 adult 1 child?

Can we...use 1 for breakfast, my husband go up by himself and get a breakfast platter?
Then myself and my son go up seperate and buy other stuff to add to it and pay cash....i'm fine with just a bagel in the mornings...

Then use the other 2 CS for lunch?

What I have found to be the case is that they are still "pooled". You should not have a problem doing it the way you are intending. The only problem would be trying to order 3 adult meals at one time.

You should not have any problems doing it the way you have planned.

3 adult meals would be way too much food at one time! thanks for your answer

We did this same thing on our trip. All of the CS were pooled. As long as you only order the number of meals for the number of guests. We had 2A - 1K (but also a 2yo) - so we could not order 3 Adult CS. I would order 2 A and he would order 1 adult meal, seperately. Giving us 3 adult meals and the kids would share one.

just a gentle reminder:
children's credits (TS or CS) are to be used for child meals only, as per WDW DDP policy.

I wouldn't plan to pay cash for that meal. You are likely to be able to feed your family with either 2 CS credits (say adult and child) or CS credit and a snack credit. The breakfast portions are generous: platter will have eggs, bread of some kind, 2 kinds of breakfast meats and I think potatoes. There is a kids version of this too. You can also use a CS credit to get a combination of "snack" items (fruit, bagel, juice, etc.), just ask one of the CM on site.
