You don't "get" seated - you get in line, order your food, receive a number to place on your table, then find a table. Your food is brought to you when it's ready. Apparently, it's more efficient than requiring Guests to wait in ever-lengthening lines while the food is prepared.
At Pepper Market in the Coronado Springs, you are seated and each given a slip of paper. You get metal eating utensils, and a server brings your drinks. You go to the various food stations and order, and get your slip stamped. Wait for your food, bring it back to your table, eat. When you're all done eating, you proceed to the register where you turn in your slips and (in the case of the
DDP) 'pay' with your credits. If you choose to dine here, be SURE to confirm if your dessert choice is covered or not. Many are not.
The Pepper Market assesses a 10% gratuity, but this is one of the rare cases where DDP credits include the gratuity - but NOT on any items for which you need to pay out of pocket, e.g. cocktails, fancy desserts.
