We are heading to Disney in September  and I am looking for some good suggestions for CS meals. It will be 2A, 2C. This time around I am looking for some CS meals that are shareable with the kids. Since the last time we went to WDW, I've lost 65+lbs and well, I just don't eat like I used to so sharing would be a BIG plus. My kids don't eat all that much either. I've tried searching the threads but my internet connection is hokey and it either times out on me or I completely lose it. Thanks so much!

Oh yeah, we are doing the DP too.

cosmic rays at MK has good stuff and big portions like ribs/chicken.

we like flame tree bbq at AK

Sunshine Seasons in the land at Epcot has tons of choices and healthy options too as well as lots of delic desserts.

In the countries at Epcot we love Morocco's counter service. The portions are enormous and yummy.

at HS, there isn't that much. We usually do pizza planet cause the kids love it.

These are the places we always do....our upcoming trip in 59 days however, we will be doing all sit down meals bc we are doing deluxe ddp.... I am in the process of losing some weight right now too so I am going to have a challenge on my hands. Last year we did DDP and I actually lost 2 pounds.

Ooo, Cosmic Rays, forgot about that place! We ate there last time and we all liked it.

Thanks so much for your suggestions! Off to check out the menus and see what they have!

Good luck on the weight loss! I'm hoping to NOT gain weight while on vacation! lol Maybe even lose......we shall see.

Agree with all of the above just want to add Columbia Haubor House

Hmmm, I was also going to suggest Columbia Harbor House. Looks like it is a crowd favorite. We loved Tusker House too. Is it still CS?

We ate at Backlot Studios in HS and really liked it. It was a large place to eat that seemed tucked away, there was not much of a crowd.

For a great CS option that is not in the parks, check out the Pepper Market, at Coronado Springs Resort. They have a great selection of all types of food!
Also some of the options have large portions suitable for sharing!

Check out the menu here...

While in Epcot, Sunshine Seasons would be good.

While in Animal Kingdom maybe Flame Tree BBQ or Yak n' Yeti(there is a counter service there too)

Nope, TH is now a buffet -- the menu looks sort of similar to Boma, but maybe more Indian-influenced than African.

I don't know about where to eat but          on the weight loss. Good for you.

:cool1: :hippie: We will be on the Anti-Weight Watchers Plan for 7 days otherwise known as the DDP.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Will have to go check out all the menus with DH.

We've been able to share the combo meals from Pizza Planet. Its a personal-ish pizza and salad. We get two for the four of us.

:rotfl2: Oh, I plan to enjoy myself with food and I am not restricting myself much. We have our TS ADR's all set up and most of them are buffets; a Weight Watcher Girls nightmare! But I will do well and all the walking will hopefully help too. But I'm not too worried....you only live once.:woohoo:
