I've stayed there twice with my family, and there's no way! I told her I was trying to decide if its enough room for us now that we have a fourth child. Anyway...I questioned her about it, but she didn't budge. Is she right? Have they made their rooms larger since 2 years ago?

Anyway...I'm still having a hard time deciding what to do. It will be me, dh, dd16, ds14, ds10 and dd2. To be honest, I wouldn't have a problem squishing us all in one room if it weren't for the hormonal 16 y.o. Sheesh!! Any ideas, opinions?

Were they talking about a two-bedroom villa at Beach Club Villas? They're different from resort rooms and are in the DVC building, not the main BC building. And that villa will cost a fortune through Disney.

That's what I thought she meant too, but nope. She was supposedly talking about the regular resort.

No, the regular rooms at BC can't sleep 8. The 2 BR and the Presidential Suite only sleep 7+ each)

Now, your family would be considered a 5 plus one under 3. I believe that you would be able to book a regular Beach Club room (2 Queens, 1 daybed, add a pack and play or crib) BUT with the ages of your older children, I don't know how comfortable you would all be in the room.

I think a Deluxe room would also be available for your family. More expensive than a regular room, but it would have club level access and give you more space.

You could do BC CL. I know they have rooms with 2 queen beds and a daybed. It won't sleep 8 though. Or like said above go for a villa. You could rent points.

I didn't realize BC had suites. Are the CL rooms suites, or are they just larger than standard?

All the deluxe resorts have high end suites (usually a Vice Presidential and a Presidential but they usually have a different name-at BC, the Presidential is the Newport, for example). The regular CL rooms wouldn't be considered suites. The suites are included in CL though. The Newport only sleeps 7 I believe though - it had a king bed, a room with 2 queens, and a room with a daybed.

Club Level has different categories of rooms:

Regular CL rooms, all on 5th floor- basically same size as the regular resort rooms. Some of these (the ones with daybeds) sleep 5 plus.

Deluxe CL rooms- not on 5th floor, but access to club lounge. Rooms have more space than regular rooms

1 Bedroom- suites, but only sleep 3 plus.
2 Bedroom- suites, sleep 7 plus, I think.

VP Suite- only sleeps 3 plus, I think. :confused3

Presidential Suite- sleeps 7 plus

Your family of 5 plus would fit in the rooms I have bolded, but the suites would have more room than the regular ones.

Here is some info, and a link about Deluxe Rooms at the BC:

Info about Rooms:

I believe that the regular (non-deluxe, non-suite) Concierge Rooms follow the same layout and are approximately the same size as the rooms in the regular resorts. All regular CL rooms are on the same floor as the lounge (5th floor), accessible by special key-card elevator access.

The Deluxe Rooms and Suites may be on other floors of the resort, but still have access to the Concierge Lounge.
