CS protocol

Are you allowed to take your CS food out of the restaurant area & eat while watching a parade? I guess I'm picturing trays, but there must be containers they can provide?

most of the CS meals I ate last time came in a paper basket on a tray for easy carrying. So yes you can take it with you. don't think they do real to-go containers tho.

I can't imagine trying to eat and watch a parade. If you sit on the curb there are people literally pressed up against you side and back. Not to mention the CM in the street and all hte performers.

I guess it depends on the crowd and where you watch the parade. We have gotten food (sometimes meals and sometimes snacks) and grabed at seat on the curb to watch the parades. We are almost always done before it starts but would have been fine eating if we were not. We ALWAYS go off season and choose a less crowded area (never main street) at watch.

While you can certainly carry it out, I have read other posts stating that the CS locations don't have true take out containers like Styrofoam clamshell containers, drink holders or even bags.

So as long as you can juggle your food you can.

One place that I remember having the clam shell containers was the CS in Mexico. All the meals came that way. Of course that was before the refurb.

One trip to Disney we bought meals at Rosie's All American Cafe and took them in to Fantasmic to eat while we waited for the show. It really was a great way to kill the 60 minute wait before the show but I must admit that carrying them was a real struggle. Especially since we were on the DP and had the desserts to carry as well. I think we managed to get a cardboard box from the CM which helped a bit but as others have said the containers aren't really made for carrying the food long distances.
