CS near MGM??

What CS options are near or easy to get to from MGM? I haven't heard great things about the food in MGM and would rather travel a little way for really good food! Is Beaches and Cream a CS meal?? easy to get to?? This will be my first WDW trip so I am not familiar with what else would be close to MGM. I appreciate all your great advice!

You can do take out at B&C. Spoodles on the Boardwalk also has a pizza window.

Tubbi's buffeteria is a cafeteria-style eatery at the Dolphin which is a short walk from MGM, as well.

Beaches and Cream is a table service restaurant with a take-out counter. If you're on the Dining Plan, it is a TS credit.

You might want to consider giving the new Studio Catering Co. in MGM a try - it's way better than the other CS offerings there.

I would give Pizza Planet a try at the Studios or if you go to Downtown Disney Marketplace you can do CS at Wolfgang Pucks Express or The Earl of Sandwich! =)

From the Disney Studios you can easily get to the Boardwalk area. You can either walk in about 15-20 minutes or take the Friendship boats that run between the Studios and Epcot. The boats stop along the way at the Swan/Dolphin, Boardwalk, and Beach/Yacht clubs. There is a wide variety of dining options in this area. Go to allearsnet.com....dining...menus and check out the dining in the Epcot resort area by clicking on the individual resorts.

For Counter Service, the closest good CS are in Epcot. I prefer Tangereine Cafe in the Morocco Pavillion in World Showcase and Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavillion in Future World. There is a boat from MGM to Epcot. You would enter Epcot at the "backdoor" or International Gateway - there you will have a huge selection of CS places as just about every country has a CS option.

If you are not on the dining plan, we found a great option to be the Cabana Bar & Grill pool side restaurant at the Dolphin. The Swan/Dolphin resorts are the between MGM & Epcot & the same boat that goes to Epcot goes to them.
