Do you know if you can charge to your hotel which would then allow you to use the gift cards?

I'm guessing by "select merchandise locations in the Downtown Disney District" they mean the ones owned by Disney, but you could ask about others.

Thanks, the majority if not all third party restaurants at Disney Springs in world allow you to do this. Just wasn’t sure if land would as well.
