Hi everyone,

Are the CS restaurants in World Showcase air conditioned? We're trying to minimize TS this trip, but I want to make sure we'll have a place to sit and eat inside to get a break from the September heat.

Thanks!

I think Japan is.

If you ask you may also be able to sit inside Germany and eat if you get a CS there.
I was able to and watch the show when I was there last year.
They have a few tables in the back, jsut ask the hostess before getting your CS meal.

France may also be, but I can't recall.

Some are and some are not. I will list the ones I know and hopefully others can supplement my list.

1. Mexico---Counter service is not re-opened yet
2. Norway---Outside seating no AC
3. China----Outside seating no AC
4. Germany---Outside seating no AC
5. Italy--- I am not sure about the new pizza place
6. USA----Yes inside seating has AC
7. Japan----Yes limited seating in Yakatori House has AC
8. Morocco---very limited inside seating AC assisted but open to outside and some outside seating
9. France----limited inside seating with AC
10. UK----inside the pub there is some seating and bar tables to lean on-not sure if this is CS but you can get limited menu of food in there. There is CS outside without AC.
11. Canada----No real CS just popcorn stand.

Hope this helps

Yakitori House and Liberty Inn are indoors and air-conditioned. Yakitori House is small, though, and Liberty Inn serves the typical burgers/fries/nuggets.

Via Napoli in Italy (the new pizza place) is a TS, not a CS.

There is limited seating in the Rose & Crown pub, and for Boulangerie Patisserie (that seating is in a separate building).

That's it for air conditioning. Some of the other CS are semi-enclosed and have fans, but no AC.

We have yet to find out if the new Cantina de San Angel will have any access to indoor, air conditioned seating. It should open around September 16.

Thank you so much, all of you!

Knew the Dis experts would have the scoop. :)

Looks like a lot of places don't have AC (or have limited AC seating), but... I think we'll be okay. We can always do Sunshine Seasons in the Land for lunch I guess, and then just do dinner in the World Showcase when the sun isn't so hot.
