Can anyone tell me about the counterservice in France? I remember something in another thread about it but can't find it now? What are the options for a CS credit, how are the portions, how is the quality of food? Is there a kids meal? Tell me what you know, Please

The CS in France is the Patissiere (sp?) and it has pastries and certain types of sandwiches (mostly on croissants). A counter service gets you 2 pastries and a drink but I've never tried it for the croissant sandwiches. I'm sure someone will give you more info on that.

There is no seating inside, if I remember correctly, but there are small tables outside in the courtyard. If it's nice out, they are hard to come by. If it's cold, who wants to eat outside anyway.

The patisserie in France has pastries, as well as several croissant sandwiches, french bread pizzas, and a cheese plate. For a CS credit you can get a sandwich, or pizza, or cheese plate, as well as a pastry and a drink. You can also use a CS credit to get two pastries and a drink. Note, you can only get a regular soda and not a large soda.

I used a CS credit there this past Saturday.

We ate here for the first time in October and LOVED it!! There is no kids' meal, so DD & DS could choose whatever they wanted. Between the four of us, we got 2 ham & cheese croissants and 6 pastries. They were soooo yummy! We had a conversation with the CM at the Kidcot station in France & he made recommendations for the pastries. We followed his recommendations and they were fabulous! What I really liked is that the pastries aren't overly sweet. This is definitely on our "go back" list!
