Does anyone have any suggestions on which CS is better in world showcase? We plan on splitting up Epcot into two 1/2 days doing future one morning and the world on another evening. We will have a 2 yr. old and 5 yr. old to consider. Any input would be great.

For Future World,I always recommend Sunshine Seasons because of the amount of choices there.:) http://allears.net/menu/men_ssff.htm
For World Showcase,I like the Fish&Chips at Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the UK Pavilion.:) http://allears.net/menu/menu_hr.htm

Thanks for the quick replies. I planned on doing sunshine seasons on the 1/2 day in future world. I was just curious what WS had to offer.

Sunshine Season is good!!
We also loved the food at Morocco, but then we like different stuff.

I do want to try some fish & chips this next time. :goodvibes

We have a couple favorite CS places in World Showcase: Yorkshire Fish & Chips ... the fish is soooo good. And also Tangierene Cafe; you get a huge plateful of food, either lamb or chicken (or both) and it's all delicious.

We like the ham and cheese croissants and pastries at France (in the tiny little shop way in the back). There are a few seats inside the shop next door and a few tables outside as well. It's very reasonably priced if you are paying cash.

If you have the dining plan and are maxing out dollars, Tangerience cafe in morocco is lovely...chicken schwarma platter. Delicious..enough to share...fresh and good (last time i had it). I actually don't think that any of the flavors on it are odd at all.

With the kids, you always have the option of the American Pavillion. Burgers and Fries type stuff, chicken nuggets type stuff, and a few other things.

List of menus: http://allears.net/menu/menus.htm

We have eaten at all of the counter service in the WS. Here is a breakdown of our opinions:
Cantina de san angel- closed for now, who knows what it will be when it reopens. previously had mediocre mexican, slightly better than taco bell.
Norway- just sandwiches and desserts. some desserts are pretty good. doesn't really do it for us.
Lotus Blossum Cafe- bad value, not much food for the price. okay taste. plain white rice with orange chicken a little boring.
Sommerfest- good bratwurst, great desserts. seriously one of the best snack credits you can use on the plan. you get an actual baked dessert with a counter service credit. black forest cake, cheesecake or apple strudel. also have hot dogs, if your kids like that
Italy- will have a new pizza place in the future. hope it is good
America- not great. if you want American food, go for Sunshine Seasons in Futureworld
Japan- good food, decent portion sizes
Morocco- good portion sizes, good dessert selection. maybe not great for picky eaters as sides are cous cous and hummus. tasty, if you are into that
France- delicious desserts!!! absolute best snack credit place. have sandwiches, cheese plates, croissants and quiches for CS. they will heat up the ham and cheese croissants etc, and you still get the great dessert
UK- fish is fresh and good. shortbread cookie is only dessert option.

Hope that helps some!

Tossing in a vote for the Refreshment Port near Canada and the Beef and Cheese Empanadas. mmmm...

And the Pot Stickers at the Lotus Blossom Cafe. Double mmmm....!

Our best CS experiences in World Showcase have been Morocco, France, and Japan.

Thank you for the awesome breakdown! I was wondering the same thing. We will be there in 1 week. YEAH!! And were thinking about using 1 day's worth of counter service to share meals and basically sample several different countries through out the day. We usually go to Germany for the brats, but want to venture out. Thanks again!

I would say sunshine seasons and F&C in the UK also, though i really enjoy the japanese quick service also.

We like Japan. Our kids were around the same age as yours when we were there last and they liked Japan too.

DS 6 loves UK fish and chips too!

We did the eating around the world on our 2 trips last year. Our favorites were by far Morocco, Japan, UK and Mexico (which is unfortunately closed). We used 1 AD CS to split a platter between all four of us so everyone could have a taste of each thing. It is a great way to get kids to try things they might not otherwise try if everyone is tasting a bite.

I have pictures of our combo meals if you care to take a look on my blog (link in my signature). Once there the Restaurant Reviews are on the right just click on that and scroll down until you see Eating Our Way Around the World Part II and Eating Our Way Around the World.

Hope this helps some. :)
