Are the CS child menu offerings in the parks enough for an adult (female)?

It, of course, depends on how much that female usually eats. If you'd be happy with a happy meal from McDonald's - the CS will be MORE than enough for you.

It's enough for me, but not everyone would agree with me that it's enough food.

(CS meals are bigger than Happy Meals, which is why I used them as an example)

often gets a kids meal at CS locations. It doesn't quite work for me.

Definitely depends on the person. I find that for me, it's enough food. I like to eat the kid's meal and save some room for my favorite snacks around the parks.

I agree - it's enough food. It's very filling and always good! You can figure with the money you save - you can get a churro later for a snack! :thumbsup2

It really depends on you. It works for me. On the other hand my DH & I split a counter service for Bk & the same for lunch. It works well so we are not stuffed for dinner.

Most of the kids meals now come with two sides. Take the Flame Tree BBQ kids selections (which I eat). A hot dog (not the foot longs, half that) and choice of two sides. Or baked chicken wings with two sides. I get 10 wings at a restaurant and I can only eat four or five on a good day. Without any sides. So yeah, for me, a kids meal will do.

It has always been good for me. Dh has gotten them before, and usually wants a snack afterwards, but it's vacation, why not get a smaller meal and then have a Mickey bar for dessert?;)

Enough food perhaps, but your choices are severely limited. You may discover you are happier splitting an adult meal, or snacking.

I had the kids CS at Sunshine Seasons from the Chinese take out. I thought that was very filling and I enjoyed it very much. My family laughs at me, but I don't care it is like 105 degrees when we travel and I am really not all that hungry! DH thought it was to save $$, when I explained it was what I really wanted then he didn't care.
Overall though the choices are a bit too resrtictive for me so I just split a CS with DD.

When we go to McDonald's I almost always get a Happy Meal. I am not happy with most WDW kids meals though. It's not the quantity of food I have trouble with, it's the choices. Some places have decent kids meals, but I find that most don't. I don't want hot dogs, mac n cheese, pb&j, or chicken nuggets. That rules out most CS restaurants right there. My DD5 doesn't usually want what's on the kids menus either, so we will often share an adult CS meal instead.

Sunshine Seasons at Epcot has good kids meal options, IMO. At the moment I can't think of anywhere else I'd order one. Maybe Pecos Bill's, I think they have a burger on the kids menu.

It's enough for me, but then hubby and I often split dinners, or I'll order an appetizer at table service restaurants.

I suppose it depends on how hungry you are.;) However, I will add that while my DD(then 4) found them to be adequate, DS(then 8) was not always filled up by them and I personally think they are kind of small (at some CS places) for those kids in the 8/9 age bracket. (FWIW - DS is not a big kid.)

I had one of the standard mac and cheese meals at the old CS version of Tusker House, and it was plenty for me. Except for the drink--it was not nearly enough. I was trying to eat light because we would be stuffing ourselves at Boma that evening, and I wasn't starving for dinner.
