Is this place still here? When we were there last we were not impressed with the CS here. Has anyone been here recently and can you tell me what they offer now? And how was it?

the mexican CS across from San Angel is the Cantina place and we eat there every trip! very good CS!! we didn't care for San Angel

IMO, this CS is the best in Epcot and one of the top 3 at WDW.

They recently changed the menu, and by recently I was there in June and there 2 weeks ago and the menu is completely different. Neither DIS or Allears has the current menu.

This was my absolute fav counter service in "the world", we tried the new menu and we threw our food away. I have never thrown food away. To say it was disappointing would be a huge understatement.

No more combination platter, no more tacos, there is a burrito, and the nachos are still there.

We had the Chiliques con pollo and the burrito, and both were inedible, I mean really disgusting.

Cantina as mentioned is the CS place here is the menu.:cool1::hippie:

This menu is out of date as they just changed it in the past month.

Just from what I remember, the Plata Combinacion is no longer offered, nor are the tacos and there has been some sort of change to the nachos. Chicken Chilaquiles has been added to the menu, and the children's selections now include a choice between a cheese quesadilla or chicken nuggets.

The food's okay, nothing special. I did not think it was as bad as Sleeping Becca did but I won't be choosing to go there again anytime soon - I would rather buy the appetizers at La Cava del Tequila.

Dh and myself and our friends were very happy with our CS meals from here last April.

I think it may be one of my favorite CS places at Epcot!

Wow..... too bad. I was hoping to get one of their taco salads in November. Does anyone know if that is off the menu as well?

I wanted to mention that there were a couple of folks, like TDC Nala, who tried the new menu and didn't have an experience like mine.

Maybe I hit them on a really reallly really really bad day, but the experience was enough that I won't be going back.

No tacos now, that stinks, well maybe I can get to Lotus Blossum in China and try the Orange Chicken, I heard that was pretty good, I wonder if they still have that? :cool1::hippie:

Yes the orange chicken is still there, we went there after throwing away our food in Mexico. We didn't get the orange chicken (we got potstickers and egg rolls) but it was still on the menu.

I have seen the menu and didn't like it. No plato combinacion, no taco, and 2 kinds of nachos, neither seeming very good. I hope oto get my Mexican fix in December at El Pirata y el Perico in MK.

We'll have to try it in November. None of us ever had the Plato Combinacion, so we won't miss that. I hope we like it because we have enjoyed our meals there in the past.

If you think of it, post how you liked it. When I was there in Dec '07 they had 2 choices on the menu, that was it. It was just ok but was hoping they had someting else I liked there now besides the margaritas :)

The counter service food was awful. I went there last April. My kids didn't even eat the food. I waited a long time for the food, it was gross.

We are going in Feb and I asked my kids this morning if they want to go back, the both said "NO WAY":scared1:

BTW: Taco bell is better than this place!
