Hello,

Personal thoughts .............. also can anyone remember what "plain foods" they had there .. turkey, beef, chicken in sauce etc.

Been looking at the menu and not too sure but want to go there :lmao:

we are plain food people and we eat there all the time, normallay a turkey or beef that they carve and then you can add sauce if you want.

We went last year and the food was really nice, if you are on free dining then your not wasting any money trying it.

They had pizza and things like that last time we went as well

Childrens chicken nuggest are suprisingly good, and as meneioned by tiggs there is usually a couple of cookjed meats such as turkey, beef, but the lunch menu does have slighlty less choice over dinner

Crystal Palace is our favorite buffet!! I have am a picky eater and DD has food allergies and we make several ressies for each trip because we enjoy the food so murch and we are spoilt for choice. I would go with breakfast or lunch if you are wanting plain foods though. Can you elaborate on what you are looking for when you say "plain"? Maybe we can be more helpful.

We like CP for a theme park restaurant (can be pretty noisey with all that glass). DD loves the chicken nuggets; 3 years ago I had a birthday breakfast there :goodvibes...where does the time go

Yep, noisy - although that pretty much goes for all the character meals aside from the Garden Grill at Epcot which due to the layout of the tables doesn't seem to feel as rowdy as it is! Still a great choice for us.

Crystal palace is always our first port of call for breakfast on our first day. We are always up at some ridiculous hour, so we always have a reservation for a yummy breakfast.:thumbsup2

Sorry to being this one back up but cannot decide between chef mickey and crystal palace for dinner. At the moment have chef mickey pencilled in - have to make ADRs on Tuesday:goodvibes

When you look at the menu for crystal palace the menu does not look appetising but the reviews seem to be better at crystal palace than chef mickey for dinner.

Can someone who has gone recently give me a few choices (thanks for previous posts but still struggling:sad2:) ... going extreme but - plain turkey or beef, maybe chicken in not a spicy sauce, potatoes, more plain things, burgers or cold meats - also desserts ............... really sorry to drag this up again but your personal thoughts again and for dinner would you do chef mickey or crystal palace???

For me, it's about the quality of the food at CP - aways seems fresher and slightly better variety. DD won't eat sauce of any description and doesn't like foods being "mixed" on the plate. CP is just so much easier for us although she loves the experience at CM. I find CM a bit more rushed for some reason.

Hello,

Does your daughter manage to find nice "plain" foods?? The menu I looked at seems quite spicy/exotic (probably not the right word) etc. :goodvibes
