Based on the rave reviews I keep reading, I have decided to book this for our upcoming trip. I am now trying to decide between breakfast or lunch. My daughter doesn't care for the Pooh characters so we are going just for the food. Any opinions are welcome. Thanks!

Just had breakie there a couple of weeks ago... the food was fabulous!! There was an incredible variety, and my DH and I filled up! Whether fresh fruit is your thing, or waffles, eggs, salmon, muffins, biscuits and gravy, etc... it's all there, and all VERY good!!!

 IMO, i think the food for both times are great but i honestly think the breakfast is better. Its just a great all around experience. If your daughter doesnt like the idea of Pooh characters why not try some where different... I think another great option is 1900 Park fare for breakfast and then take the tram over to the MK... :) (just a suggestion) :teeth: but no matter what Have a great trip! :)

Breakfast is good. Lunch can range from cold cuts and breads all the way up to dinner stuff. It's good too.

What characters does your daughter like?
1900 Park Faire and Chef Mickey's are similar to it food wise. PF has Alice and the mad hatter with mary Poppins at breakie and Cinderella with prince charming, suzie and perla at dinner. Chef Mickeys has well you guest it. The Mickey Characters.

If she is not really into the pooh characters then go for lunch or dinner. Breakfast seems to be an extra busy time, lunch and dinner are busy but more relaxed somehow. My hubby and I ate the in Feb for our 30th anniv and they made such a fuss over us. Hear is a picture of the heart the did for us on our table. All the characters came by and pointed to it and clapped. The food wass really good as was the service. We had taken my dgd (4) there last sept and she loved it. :sunny:

Thanks for all your input. We are actually doing Chef Mickeys for dinner another night. we have done 1900 Park Faire in the past. She really isn't that into the characters anymore (she is 9) so as long as we see Mickey (for me!) everyone is happy. The only reason I picked Crystal Palace was becuase I keep hearing how good the food is. Our other ADR's for this trip include:

50's Prime Time
Le Cellier
Ohana's breakfast
Chef Mickey's dinner
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Tony's Town Square (still thinking on this one)
Planet Hollywood (her request, not mine!)
Coral Reef

We have two more table service credits left. Any suggestions?

We went for lunch and loved it. The reason I suggest lunch is because then you will be able to hit the attractions in the morning while it is less crowded.

As far as another suggestion--how about Boma or O'Hana's for dinner?

It is very good!!! I am not a breakfast eater at all and we went because my boys love Pooh & Piglet. Everything looked so tasty and my mom kept saying how great everything was, needless to say I ate a little of this and a little of that and was completely stuffed when we left. Well worth the price for the food and atmosphere.
