Crystal Palace with dining plan...Is it worth it?

I assume you haven't been there before???

Personally all food at WDW is very expensive, so if you are judging by "the outside world" standard, probably not.

However you do have the experience of having the characters come to you instead of you standing in a line.
The food is decent, a notch above buffet food in my opinioin.

But rarely would I pay over $30 for any meal in the real world...but at WDW....yes I would.

That said if I had to pay OOP for all meals I would choose 1 character meal and Chef Mickey's would be that meal for me.

Everything costs a lot in Disney, so I definitely know not to judge pricing by the outside world standards, but even so, I think that $38, plus an additional 18% mandatory tip is a bit excessive. If we're going to spend that kind of money on a meal, I just want to make sure it is worth it! You know? Thanks for the suggestion about Chef Mickey - we did that the last time we visited. Still not sure what we're going to do. Either CP or The Wave at this point....
