Crystal Palace Ressi on FP +

Does anyone have a map or picture showing where to go. I keep seeing to the left. I assume after you go through baggage check head to the left. Having trouble picturing this in my head.

I'm sure Robo will be along any moment with a map. But you won't have trouble finding it. Once you get through bag check, head over to the left and people should be lining up near that small shop in the entrance area.

Thanks mom. Robo's maps are awesome! FYI - I haven't had the real Pooh's Puffed French Toast but the knock off I made yesterday was fantabulous! Thanks for telling me about it on the other thread (the one about FP+ only for character m&g).

I hope you saved me some leftovers. :)

We went to CP for breakfast for the first time ever last month.

The earliest reservation I could get was for 9:15AM and I had hoped to get us into the park by 8:30 for a leisurely stroll down Main Street w/o the crowds. Unfortunately things conspired against us and we arrived at the gates around 8:55. I immediately went to the area on the left and the CM there tried pushing us back into the crowd waiting for rope drop before even hearing why we were moving towards that area.

When I managed to explain, she still insisted that we had to wait with the crowds waiting for RD in order to gain entrance to the park. I asked, "even though that will likely make us late for our reservation?" to which she replied "yes".

Long story short, we made it with a couple minutes to spare. Lessons learned: Don't schedule an ADR at CP near RD time and/or make sure there is enough slack in the schedule to arrive well before RD.

Then never let people through when it's that close to actual rope drop. And I bet they are even more particular with that now that they are controlling rope drop more to prevent the A/E stampede.

We have an early reservation for breakfast at Crystal Palace. In the past I have just had a piece of paper with my reservation number on it and showed it to the early entry entrance person.... Now that we have everything on our magic bands.... I was wondering if my reservation will be on there and they can just scan those? Anyone done before park opening entry since all this new technology has been put in place? Thanks!

Anyone have an early ADR recently? Do they have a list of names/reservations that they check? Or can they tell by your magic band?

When we went in October they had a person with a list and you gave them your name and you were directed to the reservation line. everyone was let in that had a reservation at the same time. I want to say it was around 740-745. We had a 8 am reservation with park opening at 9

Ok, thanks! We have a 8:00am reservation but now park hours were changed and MK opens at 8:00am. I'm just wondering if they will still let us in early like around 7:45am

Yes, they will.

We have never had them check anything for pre-park ADRs at MK. Everyone just lines up, and at some point the whole line is let in, no questions asked. As far as I can tell, anyone could go in and hang out for a while, even if they didn't have an ADR at all.

The other parks have always been very strict and check names off a list, not sure why it's so much more laid back at MK.

We had an early reservation for CRT last week, and they had someone with a list checking all reservations before letting you in. Odd thing is, our name was already checked off when we got there. :confused3

They let us in anyway, and we had no issues with our reservation, but we were confused. We're guessing that they either heard a name wrong with a previous family and checked us off by mistake, or someone used our name to get in early without a reservation since alphabetically we were the first name on the list and would have been easy for someone to read off the page.

We went to CP about a month ago for an 8:05 reservation. We are APs and don't have a MB yet, but our cards lit up the green Mickey's at the left side entrance for early arrivals. No list that I saw and didn't have to give our name. Our reservations were linked to our MDE. :)

To be clear, the Mickey head turned green because you had valid park admission.
That scanner does not differentiate between guests with restaurant reservations and those without restaurant reservations.
