Crystal Palace Question

We have two children who are extremely picky eaters. Does the new Crystal Palace charge per seat like they used to at the buffet, or do they only charge for the meal you order? We could order my daughter 23 dollar macaroni, but there is nothing on the menu my son will touch.

You will pay for each child whether they eat or not so this is probably not a good choice for your family.

I cannot seem to find an answer online so I've come to the source I think is most reliable.

During the Halloween season at WDW, do the characters at the lunch at the Crystal Palace wear Halloween-themed costumes?

Since reopening post Covid closure there have been no characters. CP is no longer a buffet, but a plated entree. Not like you remember it, I think.
