Crystal Palace Question

I made an ADR for Crystal Palace at 8:10 AM on 11/24 for two tables of 6. If my family is tired and doesn't feel like waking up that morning, if we don't cancel the reservation, will Disney charge us or anything like that? Also how long do you think it will take us to get seated that early in the morning? Thanks.

No, Disney won't charge you, but it would be very considerate of you to call ahead anyway & let them know you're not coming. That would free up a lot of seats for other families. Hopefully, your family will be up to going. I know my family has never missed a character meal & we've done about 20 of them.

I agree with the previous poster...

I would either make the reservation for later in the morning in case you think you may be tired or just get up and go. I'm sure alot of people will not be able to get their dining reservations because they are booked. And a party of twelve...that like 3 families of 4 that might be able to have their character meal.

The last time I made a reservation at the CP around 8:00 it was very crowded! We waited about 15 minutes to get seated, and the next trip I decided to make it a little later and we were there at 9:30 and it was still pandemoneum then as well, except this time we waited almost 30mins to get seated. I still like it though. The food is very good, but sometimes there is a long line to get to the food. The characters are great too. We will be trying CP for dinner for the first time this next trip. One good thing about being there early is that there is virtually nobody in the park, and you can get some great castle pictures that day.

When are you going? I went to CP breakfast for the first time last Aug 27th. We had an 8:10 and were seating right away and were done with breakfast by 9:00. It was so GREAT that we went twice on our Oct trip. Both times in Oct it took longer to be seated and we ended up waiting for Piglet and it was nearly 10:00 am before we were done. Then I went again this May-it was a bit between Aug and Oct crowds. We had to wait about 5 to 10 minutes to be seated. I just looked at the date stamps on my photos from May. I took a photo of the castle before breakfast at 8:02 and took my first photo after breakfast at 9:15.
