My ds will turn 2 at while we are at wdw next month. He loves Pooh more than anything so I thought a birthday meal at crystal palace to celebrate. Granted they have the openings should I choose breakfast, lunch or dinner? Which has the better meal? which has the better character interaction?

We did chef Mickey's last fall and was dissappointed. The food was not that good and we barely seen the characters, some we didn't get to see at all. Don't want to feel the same dissappointment.

Thanks,

crissy

This is my favorite place to dine at the Magic Kingdom. The food, service and character interaction are great. I would recommend dinner. Make sure to mention his birthday both when you make your ADR, when you check in outside and again to your server. We did this for my nephew and they came and sprinkled confetti on the table, brought him a cupcake with a candle in it and sang him Happy Birthday.

We ate at crystal palace last december and the interraction was good the food was good we ate at lunch. The table next to us had mikey confettie and ballons etc and they brought the girl a cupcake and sang happy birthday to her it was great.

We had the BEST time there in January. All of us loved it. The lines can get long so get a plate as soon as you get in. They had a ball during the Hip Parade. Our 2 1/2 year old LOVED IT! We did lunch there so that's all I have to go on. We are going back this Dec. and CP is a must for us.

Have a great trip!

My family and I have a wonderful memory of Crystal Palace. We had just arrived at The World. Long day with the flight, check in etc. Well my daughter was in the worst mood and the cast member noticed this (of course you couldn't miss it) and when we walked in through the front door, they rushed over to my daughter, told her that she has been picked for Chef for a Day. They gave her, her very own chef hat to decorate. She got a personal photo session with all the characters and she got to decorate a brownie sundae with all the characters. It was the highlight of our trip that year.

We will go back there again and again!! :woohoo:

I really liked the breakfast, and my daughter had so much fun! We went for her birthday and I let them know when we got there, and she received a birthday card with the characters (pooh, tigger, and eyore) who signed it, she also got a cupcake with a candle, it was great and the food is wonderful the character interaction is great! Can you tell we really like CP?!! :thumbsup2

My daughter was 5 months old when we took her there last September. Even at 5 months she enjoyed watching everything going on and the bright character costumes. We're going back to CP in May to celebrate her 1st birthday. We cannot wait!

I was at CP last night for dinner. We had all he charactors come to our table and had our pictures taken with them. Pooh was "stationed" in the middle and you had to get and line and go up to him. There were a couple of birthday's that night and the kids really seemed to like it. As far as the food, it was OK but really you are paying for the experience.

We love the CP and make 2 ADR's each trip. We have had both lunch and dinner there but the breakfasts are our very favorite. Wonderful choices for everyone.

We've gone for both lunch and dinner there and really enjoyed it. Our first year there we even went back a second time because we enjoyed it so much.

Our third time we were there was to celebrate DD's 2nd birthday. There was confetti on the table and a signed card from the characters. My only complaint was that the characters didn't come around much. We were ready to leave and Eeyore still hadn't come to our table, so our waiter went to get him.

We're doing breakfast there next Saturday because DD wanted to see Pooh again, but for her 4th birthday party we're trying LTT. She really gets into the characters and I've heard nothing but good reviews about the character interaction at LTT.

You'll love the Crystal Palace -- they have good food and a nice atmosphere.

We love breakfast at CP and always try to get the last seating for breakfast. By then the restaurant empties out and they don't seat anyone for lunch while you are there. It gets quiet and the characters still come around. It's very relaxing! Plus you can get to the park when it opens and go on several rides before it's time for your ADR. CP is our favorite character meal at WDW. pooh: :eeyore: :tigger:
