I voted Liberty Tree cause its my absolute fave in MK. Yes there's meat on the menu...but they still have pasta (hold the chicken), yummy salad, and vegetarian pot pie for you to eat. Although maybe you could tell me something....do you have kids in your party?? And are you paying OOP or on the DP??? If your paying OOP then Liberty Tree is cheaper. If your on the dining plan and have kids, and since your a vegetarian and dont eat dairy, maybe Crystal Palace would be better for you??? Let us know if you have kids and are on the dining plan or not.
I'm solo and will be paying OOP for everything. I was considering eating at the Wave at the Contemporary, but I only have one MK day, so want to stay in the park. I don't like Tony's or the Plaza that much, and don't want to spend the money on CRT, so CP and LTT are really my only two choices. Next year I'll be on the DDP and could do whatever I skip this year then.
If you want to splurge a bit, i would go with crystal palace (it is pricier) cause there are more options and you get to see characters. But if you want to save a bit of $, LTT would be a wise choice. Both are very different atmospheres. so it depends what you like. I love both to be honest. Im not much help am i? haha. Final answer (i change mine), i vote crystal palace! only cause its different. Where else outside of walt disney world do you get to dine with pooh and friends?
As PPs have said: your options are so much better with a buffet. LTT is one of our favourite park TS restaurants, but CP is fun. We don't usually do character meals (it's just DH and me), but we do like this one.
My pick would be LTT. The Colony Salad without the chicken (and without cheese if you don't do dairy) is fantastic. Definitely filling but not heavy. The dressing is something you will need to replace if you are leaning more towards vegan as it is a honey-shallot dressing. The strawberry vinaigrette is so so good as well. If the salad isn't what you are looking for they do have a vegetarian pot pie. This is a really good restaurant and the servers are helpful.
While I do like CP, I like it much more for breakfast. There are definitely vegetarian options to be had, but overall I am just not a big fan of the offerings. We've done breakfast, lunch and dinner here and always breakfast comes out on top for everyone in my family. Best thing about CP for us is the characters to be honest.
