Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's?

My FI never wants to do breakfast, as he hates to wake up early (meaning before 10!) but the 2nd day of our honeymoon is my birthday! So, I get to choose what to do that day (well, actually, it's a surprise honeymoon (long story!) so I'm making all the plans!) and I want to do a character breakfast. This may seem juvenile bc we have no kids, but I think it will be fun!

So, the vote is out... Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare, or Chef Mickey's?

Right now we have a 10:25 reservation at Crystal Palace, but will they rush us out to prepare for lunch?

For the past few yrs, we have eaten at Crystal Palace for one of the later breakfast sittings (like 10:30 or so). We've had a great time. We have not been rushed through the breakfast at all. They do convert one side to start the lunch service but you can still do the breakfast foods. The characters are still fun even without kids. We ate there on our honeymoon 9 yrs ago, and still go back every yr now (with kids). Make sure they know it's your honeymoon, and they'll do something special for you. We also found that eating at that time will get you out of there just before "lunch" so that you can do some rides while everyone else is eating lunch, making for better crowds on the rides.

Crystal Palace--love the puffed french toast and it is the only character meal where you can find Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet all together. I like Chef Mickey's...but you can see Mickey, Minnie, Chip and Dale, Goofy and Pluto at other character meals.

I'm voting for Chef Mickey's. We do it every trip and it is so much fun! Lots of people go without kids--you'll have a blast. Enjoy!

My vote is for Crystal Palace. It's nice to start the day inside the park.

I love all three. I don't think you can go wrong. If you want to have an early start in the MK, go with Crystal Palace.

We enjoyed both so it really depends on which characters you like the most. For us it was Chef Mickeys

My favorite of all the Park Character Meals is Crystal Palace.

My favorite Character Meal is 1900 Park Fare for dinner.

We've been to both restaurants, and I prefer the Crystal Palace. While it isn't absolutely silent, it is much quieter than Chef Mickey's. The food at Crystal Palace is amazing, and the service is excellent. Chef Mickey's seems to be more hit-and-miss with the quality of the food.

CP gets my vote!

We've eaten dinner at both restaurants and breakfast at CM's. We were all VERY disappointed at CP, both food and character interaction...and the service wasn't good at all.

We have done all three of these meals. However, we did Chef Mickey's, and 1900 Park Fare fir dinner. We hav eonly done Crystal Palace for breakfast and do it every time! We just love it! You cant go wrong with the food! It's just delicious! Especially the french toas and the characters are really fun. If you are looking for some fun and good food this is great. Also the palace is just beautiful and if you want to get a start in MK you should go here! If you ever do consider a dinner character meal both 1900 park fare and CM was great. We always do chef mickeys every trip for dinner. It is a tradition for our family. We just love the food there. Also they have fun things for the kids to do! 1900 Park Fare was just ok and the food wasnt the best that's all I really can say. However, my son didnt enjoy the characters but daughters did. Since you dont have any kids it doesnt really matter.

We loved Crystal Palace. We ate there for breakfast and the food was so good! We also had great character interaction. They were very patient with my DD.
