I am trying to make reservations. I have not been to either. THanks in advance.

Based on your two choices I would pick Cyrstal Palace. Personally, I prefer 1900 Park Fare and Ohana's over either. 1900 Park Fare is the absolute best Disney has to offer. Best food. Best Atmosphere. We love Ohana's atmosphere and their food also. If you want to do Chef Mickey's do it for dinner.

The buffet we had at Crystal Palace was the best breakfast we had during our stay. While I am not a huge fan of Pooh and Friends, the food was better than than Chef Mickey's. Chef Mickey's however eliminates the need to wait in lines to see the major characters like Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Goofy. So, if you're going for food, I say visit Crystal Palace. If you're going more for characters, go wherever your favorite (or kids' favorites) will be.

That's a tough one. We have been to both for breakfast and we love them both. Chef Mickey's has some good choices and has all of the main characters(Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy). It is at the Contemporary Resort and is just a monorail hop from MK or you could take the 10 minute walk.

Crystal Palace is wonderful too. Best thing to do is book an ADR for before the park opens. They let you in early and there is noone on main st. You can get some wonderful pictures of the castle. The food is great. They have a lot of variety and it is all superb. Pooh, Tiger, Eor and Piglet are the characters.

My personal recommendation would be Crystal Palace before the park opens. It is a great start to the day.

We had an 8:05 am reservation at Chrystal Palace for breakfast. We really enjoyed it . Nice atmosphere, great character interaction and the food was good to!! :sunny:

Ours was for 8:05 also. It was great. All the food was just put out and tasted soooo good

I am one of those that HATES Chef Mickey's there I said it.... So out of the first two I would say Crystal Palace- but do you have children? and what are their ages?
The Norway PSB is really fun and my dd(8) loved it and wants to go back- we didnt' bring the boys*which I think is why she has such fond memories of it :rotfl2: * but this time we might. The atmosphere here is really cool- castle like. And very low key once you are inside- They handle the Princess Interaction better than anyplace we have been. So depending on your group this might be the one for you.

We ate at both Restaurants last week.

Three Adults and a twelve year old.

Crystal Palace had everyones vote. Have to say that Chef Mickeys has really gone down in my estimation - the service was poor, the food choice poor.

Go to see Poo and friends and you will not be disapointed.

I vote For Crystal Palace also, if you make your ADR for before the park opens you can get some great photos on Main street with the Castle in the background before the park gets crowded.
