I want to go to the Crystal Palace for either a late lunch or ealy dinner on April 26. We are going to the park in the afternoon and are taking in the 11pm showing of Spectro. We will probably arrive at the MK around 2 pm.
TIA!

I voted for dinner. This way you can enjoy your meal, then hit all the attractions while everyone else is watching the early showing of Spectro. Plus, I like the dinner options a tad better than the lunch one's.

I liked menu better for dinner. We went to dinner there last summer and loved it. It was very good. The carved meats, and sides were yumyum. They had shrimp too.

Lunch seemd to much like cold cuts to me, so that why I choose dinner. :)

I chose dinner too. Great prime rib and turkey - which I think is only available at dinner.

I choose dinner also, better menu and a nice spot for an airconditioned break from touring.

I chose dinner too because that way you will get a nice break. If you are getting there around 2:00 then you will have time to walk around a bit and then take a break for dinner. Plus I agree that the dinner menu is better, especially if you are on the dining plan you will get more for your money.

By the way Crystal Palace is my favorite WDW restaurant  !!!!

We were unable to eat here last year and really wanted to. I'm now planning our August trip to VB with side trips to WDW. Crystal Palace is definetely 1 place I want to book an ADR for. I was unsure as to dinner or lunch but after reading this thread dinner it is.:cool1:

We're planning on doing lunch at CP on our last day right before we head home. I checked out the menu at allears and it looks pretty yummy to me and lots to choose from.

What Time is lunch Avail. until? Can you still get lunch prices at CP at 4 PM?

Steve

I vote for dinner reservations.

Hug Piglet and Pooh for me:hug: . We are mid-50's and DH isn't big WDW fan. (NOW he is eager and ready to return next year).
It was the only character meal I planned for DH & I and he actually enjoyed it. Even when Tigger turned and his tail accidently hit DH in face:rotfl:

Our highlight, besides food and good service, was a British family seated next to us. The pre-teen daughter was so excited to meet Piglet. We could hear her talk about him. She was stunned and speechless when Piglet fianlly came to her table--then she hugged him over & over. DH & I cried. We were so happy for her:goodvibes .

we ate at the CP dinner and we were four adults.......then hubby and I returned in September and again ate there before the Halloween Party.......the food is excellent ....prime rib and the salmon......the salmon was so good and juicy .delicious......great choices for all kinds of likes .......even the kiddos

We always do the very first lunch seating and get in and get out...usually get ahead of the crowd at the restaurant and the general lunch crowd then.

:thumbsup2 We enjoyed the dinner. It is good food (many choices), has beautiful decor, and the characters are wonderful! When Piglet came to our table he hugged me and kissed me... I teared up and (was 40 years old)! It just warms your heart!

We loved CP and ate there twice. Either meals are good! :thumbsup2 If I was forced to choose I would say dinner I suppose. The characters are wonderful, the restrooms very nice and clean, the decor is beautiful, and the food good... CP is our favorite! :goodvibes You will be "safe" no matter which you choose so I would say go with what fits best into your schedule! Be sure and take your camera! The characters interact with the adults as well as the children and there are great photo ops! Have a wonderful time!

i don't like to do BF for ADR and i prefer lunch for a midday break. I try for 1:30 most times and then i am ready for the evening hrs.
