I am about to make my ressies. I haven't ever been to CP, but want to try it for the first time. Would you recommend CP for Breakfast, Dinner or both? Thanks in advance.

We've done both and enjoy them equally. The only problem with the lunch one is if it's around the parade, the characters leave until the parade is done.

With the breakfast one, they're there all the time, with just a few breaks for rest.

We did dinner a few times and enjoyed it but we finally did it for breakfast last year and we all LOVED it. Now my girls prefer eating there for breakfast.

Breakfast Lasagna, YUM!
My DD LOVES the made to order choc chip Mickey Pancake!
My DD loves the choc croissonts on the pastry table.

They love the little parade around the restaurant with the characters which we never did at dinner.

Another plus is getting the 8:00a ADR when the park opens at 9:00a for great photo ops. :goodvibes

We have done both. I agree with the other poster about the breakfast. To me there is nothing like getting one of the early ADR's before park opens. You have main street to yourself. There are many things we had never noticed before because of so many people. The food is good and the character interaction is wonderful. We are actually doing the dinner this year. I have an ADR set in August before the Princess/Pirate party.

Thats a tough one because we love both meals there.

Breakfast is delish and we like to get into the park for a 8:05 seating.

We usually do dinner there before the MNSSHP or MVMCP, the adobe pork is my favorite!

We LOVE the breakfast!! The puffed french toast is YUMMY!! It is our family tradition to go to the first seating in the morning - it is so cool to walk down main street with no crowds....We are going again in August...our trip wouldn't be the same without it. In my opinion this is the best character meal of all!:goodvibes

We also have done both and prefer the breakfast...first seating at 8:05am!!!!!

We have done both and prefer Breakfast. My husband has requested that on our next trip this be one of our first meals. He says that Breakfast makes him feel like he is at Disney more than anything else!
Enjoy!

We like them both equally - our fave restaurant at MK! We are, however, breakfast food loving people generally, so breakfast seems to usually win (not this year though - dinner for us)

We went for dinner and loved it and will be trying breakfast this trip. Its so pretty in there, too : )

I just booked CP for 8:05 Breakfast and it is NOT a EMH day. Park opens at 9:00. What time will they let you in for the 8:05? I am looking for just a few "crowdless" photos with the family.

Does anyone know where I can find a breakfast menu? I checked Allears and it wasnt available. Chocolate Chip Mickey Pancakes sound great! ;)

Another vote for the breakfast at Crystal Palace! We went there in 2004 and loved it. We have 10:05 adr's this year on our first day of the parks. Our plan is to get to MK early for rope drop, go ride BTMRR and some other stuff over that direction, then come back to CP for our breakfast.

Yes, my DD was VERY happy. :goodvibes Just wanted to say that you have to request them at the omelet station.

Even though folks have early ADRs they want to get to they still only let you in right at 8:00a but the restaurants know this so don't worry. Everyone will be in the same boat. You can still stop and quickly take a couple of photos.

I just checked the menus at www.allearsnet.com and she doesn't have anything for CP breakfast.

We went in year 2000 for latest breakfast possible (maybe 11:15 am?) and thought it was great - would definetly recommend.

So although our now 14 yr old SAYS she doesnt care about seeing the 100 Acre Woods Characters, she asked to make ressies again
I got the 8:05 am on non-EMH day too.

Not keen on buffet dinners so no opinion there.

We did both last year. I will never eat dinner there again (but we are not big fans of dinner buffets anyway)

But breakfast is terrific! We always get the 8:05am on our first full day there so we can be out right around 9am and hit Fantasyland before the crowds build.

My daughter and I have done both. She is a HUGE Pooh and Tigger fan. We also loved the food at both but there is NOTHING like walking down main street in the morning before the park opens. The sight of the castle made us both cry. The Crystal Palace is a must for us every trip.

We also have done both , and loved both. I would say go for the breakfast they have some things ," like others have said," that you probally don't have all the time , the french toast is sooooo good. Dinner is very good but same as other buffets to me. Also breakfast was more relaxing to me.

my vote is for CP breakfast!!!! its awsome. and you get to see main street empty in the early am.

I keep on meaning to try dinner, but I always end up booking breakfast. It's that good. On my last trip I didn't have an ADR for CP, but I was distraught at the thought of not eating there, so ended up getting a last minute ADR on my departure day.

We have a 10:40 adr for breakfast on our full mk day, and I'm wondering if those of you who have gone around that time too thought that it was inconvenient and took to much time out of your morning?
